Reading both rns properly and interesting on the language.. Conrad saying “deemed” which is very passive and then claiming (but not substantiated) versus EME which strongly pushes back and relates to JOA etc as basis for this (has Conrad violated the JOA also here?)
Also reads like EME are confident and in control and not panicking, they know their rights, they know can effectively block the process and willing to fight legally however also are open to fair settlement.
Long stop date is 9 months away but Conrad have also mentioned first tranche in q1 2026 conditional on meeting conditions :
I would guess these are all JOA partners consent, regulatory approval and clean title/no legal dispute. So basically they have 3 months in order to achieve their first milestone payment in my view which puts pressure on Conrad so can see this moving swiftly over next few weeks if not sooner
