It's another article based purely on the GOGC statement so we are really no further forward.

It seems to be written by an employee of Hogan Lovells, so whilst making dire reading and confirming the return of the 99%, which hadn't specifically confirmed before, is bound to be one sided.
What we crave is a balanced analysis of the arbitration conclusion, which we haven't seen yet.
It is looking very bleak, but all we have seen is two views that, whilst having statutory and reputational obligations, will be somewhat biased.

So I suspect it is just an article regurgitating the version we have already seen, rather than an unbiased analysis of the arbitration verdict, which is what we are all interested in.

Jon_Boy: I am sure that was tongue in cheek but you make a good point imo as there have been a number of requests on here since the GOGC website posted the arbitration outcome and no-one from FSHG has said anything (as far as I am aware). We know they have tried to contact Zaza in the past without success. Surely now is a new appropriate time? Can someone from FSHG respond on here please.

The GOGC legal fees are payable by FRR. They were 6.7m GEL as at 31.12.18, which equates to around £1.7m. Given the hearings were in 2019 presumably they would have wracked up considerably, to maybe £5m???

Phil: I like your optimism but the scenario does beg one question which is why we defended (and counterclaimed) the arbitration at such huge expense?

Would be interesting to have Mole and Devex's insight into where we all are now. If you guys are looking in please share your views. I know Mole had been doing analysis on the PSA so would be good to benefit from his expertise and maybe discover if there is still any potential hope of a return despite the huge legal costs that are now due as a result of the arbitration outcome.

Tsbs: if it's over in Georgia it's over. The costs we are now landed with are significant.

Mole seemed to have a good knowledge of the PSA.
He last posted on 5 March and included:
"It so happens that I have revisited FRR as a share this week to reread the back information I have on the PSA. I have found that useful and will post on that tonight when I have some spare time."
He never did share what he had found useful but it would be useful if he could now share any relevant information from the PSA and his interpretation of the arbitration outcome. I'm sure most posters would be pleased to get his view on the situation we are now in and whether there could possibly be anything left ...?
