I don't know if my earlier post (below) got lost in the noise but this news today in my interpretation says nothing more than the case started last year. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Puddy: whilst Zaza's lack of communication is not acceptable, we are still shareholders, along with Zaza and Steve. As far as we know the Company still exists and we should know more about its prospects as soon as the arbitration result is announced. If we retain anything substantial from the arbitration then the future could be very bright.

Sadly not it seems: the fish n chip van stopped its weekly visit to my village as soon as lock down started.

In terms of the ongoing mediation presumably they're just waiting for the arbitration outcome and so pushed the deadline date back ...

Piscean: if the CHL LSE board was anything to go by so long as we get one post a week, LSE will keep it going.

Errazel: I would like to think the reason is that we have an asset massively larger than Block's. Whether that is wishful thinking or not remains to be seen.

Looed: the problem is that we have a completely incompetent Government here. It was elected by idiots so we are getting what people voted for. Johnson has completely ****ed the CV strategy up from the start. We need leadership and action (albeit now too late to save many innocent lives). He provides neither and, as a result, has blood on his hands.

In this debate where none of us know diddly squat, I am in agreement with Phil. But, as with everyone else's speculation it is purely blind guesswork. One thing that might be a possibility is that if the arbitration does go against us then maybe the Government (especially if it changes) will still look to work with us to keep the US of A sweet and to send a good message to potential foreign investors, so it may not be game over if that happens.
Having said that there is still hope that a deal may be thrashed out before the arbitration result imo...

Although the cynic in me thinks that the arbiters will decide they need to write a huge book on the outcome and reasoning for it and take as long as possible to maximise what they get paid for it.

Good morning all
So following on from the Texas court hearing being cancelled, the website is now down. Am I alone in being somewhat worried? Although it would seem odd for us to go bust at this time, having survived so long in adversity, just before the arbitration result. But if the arbitration result had been announced and gone against us, how would we know? There is nothing about it on the GOGC website, which is encouraging as they would probably be shouting it from the roof tops. It would be reassuring to see the website come back up.

Whilst you're around, did you have any thoughts on the cancellation of the next hearing in Texas? I appreciate that we have virtually nothing to go on, but from a lawyer's perspective what are the various options that could have resulted in a cancellation, as opposed to a postponement happening? Does this mean that that action is finished?
Any comments you could provide would be appreciated.
