Anyone got a link to this ? Find it hard to believe we have spent multi millions to establish a blade manufacturing plant ?
Load out is possible (been done a few times at Belfast)but currently unlikely as no ships have been offloading blades .

Possible work for H&W from Irish ferries ?

BREAKING NEWS: Irish Continental Group PLC has announced that it has purchased the ropax ferry CALAIS SEAWAYS from DFDS.

The ship will serve the Dover - Calais route operated by Irish Ferries after dry-docking and branding changes in line with the Company’s other ships. The ship is to be renamed ISLE OF INNISFREE.

Probably worth adding hydrogen into the equation initially blue then into green (with export opportunities and carbon credits )….Whole different ball game hopefully when NI gets around to publishing the long awaited energy strategy we will know more
Bearing in mind hydrogen can be stored in salt caverns (IM being the only ones in Ireland) or stored in liquid form at -252.87°C Or in ammonia which has then got to be treated.
We then have Kilroot being changed from coal to gas/hydrogen

Found this on suction piles whilst not part of the contract at Arnish it does explain in pictures what they are . No wonder it is going to take 4 months to fabricate also worth noting they can be used on floating wind platforms
