🕵️♂️ Sunday Sermon: The Traitors of Tickerland 🕵️♀️
Delivered by Revd Oldsharedog, with hymnal interruptions by Sister Placebo and Brother Spreadsheet
📺 Theme: The Traitors (but with more chart fraud and fewer cloaks)
🎁 Winner: Hallfbutt
🏆 Prize: One week in Pharmaland (Iceland was out of stock—blame the supply chain)
Brethren of the Battered Portfolio,
We gather today not in the roundtable of trust, but in the circular firing squad of speculation. The candles are lit, the charts are broken, and the traitors walk among us—hooded not in velvet, but in RNS delay and dilution.
Let us open our hymn sheets to “Oh Lord, Deliver Us From the 8am Drop”, and sing with the conviction of someone who bought the top and blamed the broker.
This Week’s Revelation: Hallfbutt Ascends
Yea, though many were cast into the moat of missed entry, one among us hath prevailed. Hallfbutt, the humble holder, the silent accumulator, hath won the final round—not with deception, but with divine patience and a well-timed top-up.
His reward? A week in Pharmaland—where the pills are plentiful, the trials are eternal, and the CEO speaks only in conditional clauses. Iceland was promised, but alas, the shelves were bare. Pharmaland it is: a land of hope, hype, and half-finished Phase 2s.
The Traitors Revealed:
• Brother Rampington, who whispered “multibagger” and vanished at resistance.
• Sister NDA, who claimed “news imminent” since Q2 2022.
• Deacon Chartley, who drew ascending triangles on descending volume.
Let us not cast stones, for we too have sinned. We too have believed the broker note. We too have held through the placing. We too have said, “Just needs one RNS.”
🦴 Fable of OTM the False Profit 🦴
There once was a prophet named OTM, who roamed the forums with a golden RSI and a mouth full of fib levels. He claimed to see the future in the candles, to hear whispers in the MACD, and to divine destiny from the stochastic.
He spoke in riddles:
Many followed him. They bought the spike. They held the dip. They averaged down with faith and fury.
But OTM was not a prophet. He was a profit—false and fleeting. His charts were borrowed, his targets recycled, his conviction leveraged.
And when the final placing came, and the price fell to the land of sub-placings, OTM vanished—leaving only a trail of broken trendlines and broken hearts.
Let this be a lesson:
Trust not the one who posts without position.
Follow not the one who edits the chart but not the post.
And beware the profit who spells it with an “i”.
Scripture of the Week:
“Blessed are the bagholders, for they shall inherit the forum.”
— Book of Spread, Chapter 7, Verse 3
Closing Benediction:
May your stop-losses be tight, your entries be clean, and your exits be blessed with volume. May the traitors be exposed, the genuine be rewarded, and may Hallfbutt’s journey to Pharmaland bring forth th
