In the mean time I am pitting 4 x baskets of olives and have been told that there is a delivery of figs on the way - I am going to have to find my 101 olive recipe book !!

Integration into the community can sometimes have its drawbacks - one of my neighbours saw me go out this morning to check our lobster pots and made the gesture suggesting he could have one - I gave him the thumbs up - sadly I threw them all back because they were too small - I'm going to make him a fig pie in compensation, I'm sure he will be grateful !!
