Despite the wording in the RNS,

A dead cat bounce in play, unbelievable stuff

My opinion is that RNS is so lacking in enthusiasm, or the mention of oil flow, that it is a very poor result, and this RNS is the softener

We agree on that point, they already know something, its IMO why they wrote the RNS the way they did

Stimulation and flow back is a full 10 day program, 4 of which is clean up and flow back, followed by 2 days of pressure test, it is all a single sequence

Perforation, completion-running and stimulation is expected to take approximately four days, followed by a clean-up and flow period of up to four days and a pressure build-up of up to two days for a total of ten days to complete each of the two flow tests.

It is the standard way to dispose of any gas associated with oil flow back, it is a safety requirement that a flare be hooked up to the separator

Secondly there is no economic benefit in capturing all of the gas in such a small flow test, larger and longer it can justify being captured for site energy needs

The RNS dores not mention oil flow at all. That is unlike 88e to give so little, they are the masters of promotion

The flow back plan, was to conclude with a two day of pressure build up test, and it is near completion of its planned 10 day test.

88e stated “Activities leading up to fracking the USFS zone took longer than initially estimated “So a resumption of normal schedule after fracking

“Results are to be announced once the flow back programme is completed and results analysed, which is “anticipated” to be at the end of this week.”

The end of this week announcement, will follow completion and results analysis

It is highly likely given the 3 indicators above, that 88e is currently in the pressure build up phase.

Which means the well has already been shut in, so nothing is now returning to surface. There will be no flare for Dalton highway users to photograph

To date no picture has emerged showing any flare, which given the number of satellite and roadside pictures previously published, by the enthusiastic super sleuths, may show that one has been hard to capture

“Company looks forward to providing an update with results from the Upper SFS flow test” this with no date attached and the use of the word “anticipated” gives a get out of jail clause to the timeline of announcements. It may take longer than first glance would show

Never satisfied , I think you are missing something, no positives in this RNS

Don't confuse flow back, with flowing oil, it started with 6 days of flowback water from the Alkaid2 SMDB test PANR conducted. Then came some mixed oil and water for the last 5, the frack water returned first, it was still considered flow back

Contrast this RNS with a similar stage in the drilling of Hickory 1, there is a lesson to learn in the use of positives or not

Very substantial to 962 sounds like the kind of number a troughsnout with a short would be anxious about. Probably better to concentrate on your short term threats, than the cherry on top stuff

88e will at this stage have considerably less uncommitted cash than PANRs $8.7m, and the balance of the PANRs debt ($27m)(will roughly match the amount 88e will need to capital raise for a long term flow test, IF the current flow tests even show a viable reservoir.

So many uncertainties ahead, in poorer reservoir, and very small targets in comparison to the already, independently assessed 962 million recoverable contingent resource in just one of PANRs two giant discoveries.

Seems like a lazy mans version of banging heads together, but misses the point Shareguru22 is setting out to create offensive content, and uses it to contaminate a thread to have it removed

Repeating for those that are fretting the timeline delays, looks like the 27th is most likely

If you follow the logic in the reddit post, it suggests the perforation took place close to the 17th, then go to the 88e timeline chart, Pg3 https://clients3.weblink.com.au/pdf/88E/02778276.pdf It shows 10 days after perforation, results are due on the upper SFS

Unfortunately the wording is unclear as it smudges perforation into the 10 day period, best to just follow the timeline chart where perforation is a specific line item

Taximan, I don't think you have gone at all senile, but you have interpreted Jays statement incorrectly

PANR have in effect stated, they predict the boundary of their productive reservoirs falls North of the 88e Northern boundary.

They have not included any thing South of this towards 88es Hickory, in their resource assessments because it did grade high enough to be included

So should 88e prove reservoir at Hickory does grade high enough, PANR were over cautious in their cut off, and can then declare all of the reservoir between, their old cut off and 88e as productive

Hickory serves as a free delineation well for PANRs proven reservoirs, it is no wonder they are so supportive of 88es efforts
