....mega-duds! Cannot see why our cash could not buy out WN completely but I suppose Connaught still want to pretend there is value left. Market reacted negatively and not surprised.
Been some early buying of RBD which just proves lunatics still abound. Very glad I got out of most years ago and have mentally written off what I now hold.
Says this is a big sell and I can understand their opinion. Puretech invents 'miracle' drugs for nasty bodily and mental afflictions but does not manufacture any, so there is little upfront income and significant expenditure. Hence not pretty accounts. Where it makes large and continuing profits is under the contract terms it arranges with the manufacturers. This means waiting years for results and that is where we are right now. So if you want fast - or even not so fast - bucks, you won't want these. But the big bucks will start to come quite soon and there is a real case for big pharma to bid for PureTech. So £1.65 will buy you well over £5 worth of future value.
There really should be an RNS soon seeing that Simbec Orion have been silent for a year about their independent research on P140. I am also confident that, given time, the patent challenge to our investment in Incanthera will fail because their product is radically different and not as alleged. At least one significant constituent which would need to be present is missing in the Incanthera product. But time is not on IMM's side. I am staying put.
...Big Jim has actually managed yet to work out what a plonker he has in Ed?
We can live in hope. Perhaps when he has bought enough shares here, he will chuck Ed under a bus - I can lend him an old motor bike if not - and appoint someone who has a bit of experience in investment management - but I wouldn't put (more)money on it!!!
There are a spate of sells which is amazingly stupid because practically nobody owns significant parcels because they are impossible to get your hands on. So these cretins are making a hundred quid or so on probably the best stock around. They won't want to even look at the SP here then because they will be so angry with themselves. IF they are still independent, they should be double this in about 12 months.
...posts. Just upped holding to find SP falling like there's no tomorrow. But Labour's Milliband preaches woke stuff about zero emissions and whilst he is in charge of this policy, boring old NG will continue to be how we get our electricity via monster poles. They are also doing nicely in USA because it is somewhat bigger than us and this is still the cheapest way to cover those distances. In my opinion this won't always be the case but, for now, hold and take the dividends.
.....due in March should see these tweeked much higher because so few shares available and results will be excellent. Have to be daft to sell any before then!!
...should be named Victor Sylvestor.- - slow slow quickquick slow!
Next news should be commencement date for the Tant Valley Arbitration hearing which should produce an RNS early January unless it settles before, which I doubt.
These represent 12% of my p/f and will, in my opinion, be a great hold for at least the next 12 months, although it may make sense to cream off some if they hit, say, £5.50 during that timescale.
....Deal! Cannot see DL's shareholders turning this down, even if the top brass want a bit more. My only worry is that this might be Amanda's final flourish.
...because convinced of SHED's tactics in this market. About the only property-based share to be able to generate increased revenues whilst all the retailers are shutting up shops! Aim to hold for more than a year.
So I ditched these today and reinvested elsewhere in ISA starting a holding in a Vanguard Japan ETF to 5% of p/f and enhancing a couple of other holdings. Checked first to see these were xd!
