A year or so back I was on verge of buying in here but decided their helping company MPAC were a safer bet and have yesterday sold my last of MPAC at a good profit to raise cash in this awful market. Saw today's RNS here and have taken the view that now might be a good time to spend some here. So I am in for 15000 now.

NK1 - If you read my recent posting here, that is the raison d'etre and I am putting my money where my mouth is!

My only agony right now is when to add because UK market as a whole has skies on and I am much too old to buy more until it takes off the skies and again tries on the climbing boots! I did say it gets interesting here below the quid so my hands are getting a bit itchy.

Decided to cash my last 2000 today because, looking at this market, more cash in my ISA and a 100%+ profit right now. seems more sensible. That totals nearly £50,000 cash now to invest lower down.

'End of life as we know it'. Too late to sell: far too soon to buy.

I have quite a wad in savings with this bank as well as a p/f of shares, all for my disabled son. Half of my sum in this bank is in a 95 Day Notice Account and having read your musings here I have today given that notice. April will be a new tax year and the situation re car finance will then be in a more advanced state. Thus I will then have possibly interesting investing options and the cash to take advantage.

Decided to stick on a limit bid way down on basis that if it falls that much its worth buying more primarily for the income yield.

.....has recently done the maths with this and despite liking them, the SP has continued to fall. The main problem here is that without any IPOs or investment sales, their excellent portfolio cannot be valued. Since an IPO in this market seems extremely unlikely, investors are not excited to buy. I am a holder and not keen to sell at a loss. The irony is that if FIPP decided to wind down, I would not be surprised if over time it achieved a much improved total.

.....not if Bitcoin collapses. It is extremely widely used by criminals to get and maintain anonymity for proceeds of crime, often hard drugs. Anyone making decent profit would be well advised to take it out fast. Been on TV in last 48 hours.

...is definitely a 'Buy'. Just maybe with all of the co's buying in its own shares a few smart investors are realizing these are too cheap.

This looks way under the radar and a smart company, but near the top of its usual price range. I am adding to my Watchlist.

...an RNS. In fact well overdue. The longer we hear nothing the lower this goes - you don't have to be a rocket scientist to work that out. So come on BoD, tell us something new - ANYDAMNEDTHING!!!

...may well be loss-making but that does not necessarily mean it has no value. My view is that we small shareholders are well and truly shafted and, in practice, can't do anything but take the stingey offer.

The whole market is in the doldrums. I got out of a couple of investments in ISA and am sitting with cash until I judge we have hit bottom. This is one contender for another investment at that time, as is SHED. Until then I hope Fidelity are still paying interest on cash sitting in the ISA!
