I always thought the de merger was done in double quick time. There was rumour of take over earlier in the year. If there was any substance to that rumour you would think it certainly wasn't goco that was the prize any possible suitor was after. Worth hanging around here for a while to see what happens. Read somewhere before de merger chairman said he would sell up at 500p a share. " SO WOULD I " D.

Hi Lee. Back of fag packet comparison between goco. and mony. Got all my information from Halifax/Research. MONY. GOCO. M/cap. £1512.8m. £262.2m. Shares. 547.54m 417.91m Revenue £281.73m £118.90m Profit b/tax £79.80m £23,20m Debt. £55.95m £63m I realise a lot more of the fundamentals are required to make an in depth comparison between the two companies but I could not find a comprehensive set of figures for Goco as I assume they are enmeshed somewhere within Esure's final results. Draw your own conclusions about what I have posted. One interesting fact I've found while researching MONY. is their list of ii's contains some real heavy hitters holding decent percentages. That tells me there's ii interest in the sector. D.

Lee Confirmed in a few places that the company's total assets are £32 mill. Assume that means they don't own the Newport site, wishful thinking on my part !!!!!! Other comparison sites coming to market next year so maybe we've got a wee bit of a head start. Going to compare our fundamentals & market cap to moneysupermarket, although there much bigger than us i think it might an interesting exercise. D.

It was easy to make me laugh today stickler " ALL MY SHARES ARE UP " This is where it gets a bit more complicated, there not up enough where I'm no doon' I can't understand why there's not more pi''s in here, I know pi''s weren't eligible to buy through the ipo. But there has been ample opportunity since to get in under the ipo price. Anyway this is one of the few in my portfolio that I'm considering as a LTH. Your post the other day stating buy/sell ratios are not necessarily conclusive in determining a share price was certainly affirmed here today. Supposed 10 sells for each buy today gives us an increased share price of 3%. I'll take it. D.

Stabilisation period now over. Not wise enough to know if it's good news or bad news for the pi''s. All it means is ii''s will have to go to market to buy there shares same as us. Be interested to know how many of the 5mill. plus allotment stabilisation shares citi Corp had available were issued. We should get an rns telling us the number pretty soon. There was around a dozen ii''s buying shares through the scheme, here's hoping they continue buying. D.

The interum figures are available on the ipo prospectus, what's on there shouldn't be that different to what's announced on 30th. Nov. Prospectus is a 249 page doc. So it's definitely not a light read. I'm hoping that the shares are just flat lining till these figures are out in black and white. Compared to rest of market of last couple of weeks i feel Biffa have preformed pretty well. It would be nice if they could announce a decent size acquisition before the intrums, the facilities are available for one. Stickler my portfolio shows that not only am I also a "gambler" but a bad gambler. D.

I think we should be okay in long run on here. Bit envious of your 61p entry mind you, I got mine through de merger with esure so lm nearer 81p than 61p. Should've dumped first day then bought back in when it settled. Figures look okay to me, only thing I couldn't find out is who owns the Welsh company headquarters building, read somewhere it was worth £190 mill. Will keep looking. D.

Hi Steel There doesn't appear to be any significant director buys since dfs came to market. Which was only in march 2015. Current meaningful director holdings are. Richard Baker ( chair) 4.8mill. Ian Filby ( ceo ) 1.38mill. Major investor holdings 156.6mill. Total shares in company 211mill. D.

Thanks for that soleman1. I wasn't sure what the significance was of the big trades after the closing bell. Like yourself while not happy with the drop, I'm perfectly at ease holding here for as long as it takes to deliver a reasonable return. I'm not big on averaging down and I don't believe that's what I'm doing but if it keeps dropping I will buy more. D.

Sorry to let you down Steel. I tried my best today guys, l bought another million of the bloody things and they still went down !!!!!!! Most of the shares in my portfolio have went from profit to loss in the last 2 weeks. Only HSBA & LGEN have left money in the purse. I'm not sure if this is a proper market correction however everything is down this week so maybe it is. I've got 4000 of these and I'm definitely not taking a loss. So the Badger will be here for a while me thinks. D.

Don't think I've the nerve to be a fund manager. The £60 mill. trade last week is showing a £6mill. paper loss right now. Eye watering to say the least. The drop though hardly deserved, has created a much greater interest in dfs. We'll be over a thousand trades and probably a million shares traded today. This is a considerable increase on what it was before the drop. Think I've read somewhere" that shares can go up as well as down. Mr mm we've had the down wee bit up now perchance. D
