Yes Smokey I am in genel not for much though, next positive move on there will probably be on cesation of hostilities. Used to be a payment from KRG gave a bit of a spike but not last time. Guys on there are very knowledgeable and appear to be heavily invested. I stuck a grand in to keep it on my radar. Didn't expect any upward movement here pre - results. I left my top up here till last minute was hoping for a bit of dip. Never happened so in again at 173.1875p this morning. D.

Hi sufc555. Wouldn't argue with anything you say. I've always believed the hiving off of goco. was more to do with making esure a more streamlined business fit for takeover than anything else. Don't know the exact figures but esure's m/cap was reduced by over £300mill. When goco went, as far as I can work out total capital spend on goco during Esure's part and total ownership was under £150mill ? Has anyone got a different view on the figures. I can't help but see some relevance in Mr Woods holding on to his 128 million goco shares. Perhaps he'll need a new home when this is gone. Just thinking that's all. D.

I had hoped we would get further acquisition activity in run up to half yearly results on Wednesday, anything would have been acceptable , new £200mill. loan facility sitting there waiting for it as part of ipo. Who knows where we will be after Wednesday " you pays your money and you takes your chance " hoping for a statement announcing the company's adoption of a positive dividend paying position, Which is also in the ipo. Fingers crossed. D.

Good morning Steello Felt like a traitor to the cause this morning, set a trade plan to top up on biff. I've kept an eye on them since ipo. Share been kept within a 173p/177p band since tradeable. Not a great deal of volume, generous bod. allocation and ii new allocation, "Pi's weren't invited" are locked in no trading new shares for bod.12 months and ii 6 months. Half yearly Wednesday so the GAMBLE is buy before after or not at all, anyone see into the future! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D.

Good morning SPMG That's not a comparison ever mentioned on here. One of dfs's mantra's is they are four times bigger than the next four largest soft furnishing manf/retailers combined. So I'm not sure any comparison would be relevant. D.

Last week's steady daily drop was predictable. I wouldn't be that sure this week would be much better initially anyway. At some point you would think there has to be a grab of some kind for the 3% dividend. I've said before I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a tree shake by MM's to get their hands on cheap shares prior to ex divi date. Just my thought guys, could be totally wrong off course we will see. D.

Off topic guys sorry. Freed up some cash to top up on biffa today was looking for a wee dip. Alas the bloody thing goes up. Hi Lindoser Couldn't agree more, it's a bit of an enigma why most significant trades appear after the close of play, it's certainly not something that's done to help us the great unwashed. In saying that wasn't a bad day for lrd. I now take no notice of buys v sells I'm only interested in volume no volume means no interest. D.

No share watching for the Badger this morning guys. Down for breakfast this morning to a big list of shopping to get for the misses. She put it on top of the coffee jar so I've no chance of lying and saying' I never seen it dear' coffee jar as she well knows is never far from the Badger. Could have been worse lads she could have left the merc ticking over at the top of the drive with the shopping lift pinned to the steering wheel with a dagger! !!!! Good morning smoke I still think there is something going on here. Every day we have many hundreds of small sell trades. I've no idea what it means but as far as I'm concerned it means something. People who are dealing in shares of only a few hundred or less don't sell days prior to a generous dividend payment, it makes no sense. I can see the sense of selling before ex divi if a share is flying high and knowing there's the chance it will bomb ex divi date,I've done it myself in the past. That's certainly not the case here. An ii who's due dilligence is presumably light years ahead of us put £60mill + in here a few weeks ago at £2.40p a pop. Hi Steello I had no idea you were in so heavy, we've all been swept up in each other's enthusiasm for this, we've all researched it and dare I say it we've all ramped it a wee bit as well. It's a good company. I wouldn't want to give anyone advice but remember the dividend it has to be worth at least £4k for your holding is it not. I've not been that bothered about the share price this week it's more or less performed along the lines I was expecting it to if it stays where it is i'll put another £2k in tomorrow i've nothng left I want to sell mind you so will have to go to the bank . Next week share price I'm not that sure they may play with us for another week who knows. I've read the agm agenda I certainly didn't see anything in it that could be detrimental to the share price, but I am a retired engineer not an accountant. I will be checking that opening price tomorrow with a bit more interest than I usually do. Whatever decision you make tomorrow will be the right one no matter what happens to the share price. Today was so predictable. I didn't realise you were so heavy in here Steello. Are you down that much in this one share ? AGM next week, Ex divi date following week surely this daily pattern has to change. It's not just this that's doing this steady crawl downwards near enough the whole market is doing it. D.
