I expect they want to sell down to a partner to share some of the expense and probably then raise more cash anyway to buy into another spec they already fancy - but what do I know?

We all know their game! Persuade the mugs to sell sell sell - then hoover them up for a song and watch them perform. If you know anything about this co and BoD, you should be a LTH and wait for at least a year. But if you want to give your shares away at these prices to the cowboy derampers, fair enoughy. Just put a note in your diary for this time next year and get ready to be thoroughly sick!

Well, no effect on SP! I think us small fry are afraid of getting even more fried by this co. Really there should be some uplift now because at the main hearing (no date yet) there is a good chance that the court will require the State of R to make a fair decision not rely on unfair old reasons for refusing PAT a Prospecting Licence. The court cannot, it seems to me, force the State of R to grant the licence if they refuse but can hold them in contempt of court in that event. A suggestion by the court of a fine of, perhaps, a few billion rupees might encourage them do the right thing, but do you or I want to risk more hard won cash at this stage on such an outcome? Hmm...

everything here looks to be chugging along nicely. Couldn't expect co to declare a profit this year but next half should be very different and 18 months time I feel a divi coming on! If price drifts further, they become a big buy.

Lousy general market and I only have a few but would not be surprised to see more holdings accumulated and then the concern behind some popping in a cheeky bid near the quid.

Why should it not slide lower when there are no predictions of when it will stop eating capital and start becoming profitable. I said as much after I was attracted in and paid 34p! Below 20p to buy is tempting ...but no bells ring! I shall keep monitoring. Something about catching a falling sword!!

Read in Independent today that oil price likely to reach $90 in next month and possibly $100 early next year. If that happens , then our odds be 4/6 for a cheap bid (c5p) and possible auction Only nagging doubt is whether news has already crept out to all Majors that we have lousy geology. Oh well, we shall see.

Beware assuming red trades are all sells here. My holding of these now brings SIGT into my top 3! Safety First for the next few years.

With a vast % of the capital in hands of four institutions and another significant holding by Directors and Managers, demand does not have to be enormous to send the SP gently upwards. As this month gets closer to Oct and release of interims, expect gentle rise.

Market is rough on these as with most developers but just imagine the figures, admittedly some months away.
They should be rather good bearing in mind what has been achieved in last 12 months. And I expect a nice hike in the dividend. Be surprised if the tipsters don't highlight WJG in next few months.

and disclosing 4.6p per share earnings for the half year. This might hit 10p for the full year (app £1.5M). Once market digests this - and fact this is an AI play - I still believe we will see a lift off.

Gives us all hope. With some of my other 'Flutters' similarly hopeful, I may yet get a decent return from enough of them to make the experiment worthwhile! With main investments by and large stuttering, it provides some fun.

Today sitting in local coffee shop reading their Grauniad when up pops an item from some international body confirming that all major economies are now past their growth peaks and just starting on downward paths - precisely the assumption SIGT management have made, reckoning on a world recession by around 2020 and gradually withdrawing cash from the market ready to reinvest at 'the bottom'. Decided to pile more of mine in here, even though I have other Alternative type trusts to protect capital in event of a crash (or more likely, a slow downturn), All those who regard their savings as a trust fund (like me) note well.

...educational. Looks as though updated irregularly and site a bit clunky but I suspect Sir James feels that he does not have to spend more. One of his private cos looks like it has not been updated since 2015! It all leads me to believe we will learn what he has in mind for WEB only slowly and unlikely to be RNS before next figures in November. The licences are not given any real value in the last accounts and bearing in mind the legal change, I would be surprised if he will be able to get through Audit this year without some change there, albeit not to $10M per licence unless there has been a sale for that figure. Suspect a few brave holders will top up so expect a mini-climb between now and then.

Well, SP is back at what I paid and still 2 hours plus before market closes. Mon a.m Interim figures should appear and if we are making a profit I expect INS to leave its previous high of 334p as history. Every £160,000 profit for full year equates to 1p per share earned. More important is the impetus that INS seems to be gathering for the future. With very small free float (I reckon around 5M shares) it takes only tiny demand to affect the price (either way!). My view is that they are in the most exciting of businesses and it is one which would be almost impossible for a potential competitor to copy. Once the investment mags discover it, uplift could be significant. I only have a small interest but LTH.

Thanks for your update. Just now another RNS for a non-Exec tucking shares away. No SP change but it bodes well.

In answer to your post today, it was, I think, a slight generalisation because the change of mood has been happening gradually over a few days. If you care to check back over the prices and postings , you will see what I mean. Given a "following wind" we have likely good news wrapped up in more than one rns to come. LTH's liike me have identified this and I for one have added because if, in due course, the Gov't award the RFP to Tlou (which is likely) the SP will rise sharply. The co has got on with 'their knitting' since the last award was pulled by the Gov't and are now in an advanced position. Even if they do not win the RFP, once the well is creating power they will be able to sell it into the Grid. The management here seem to be honest, dedicated and hopefully soon, even wealthier! Please do your own research, but that is why there is a nice buzz around us LTH's right now.
