If you have shoved these in your pension, then with a year or better, two to go to retirement, I would leave them alone and put any new investment into a fairly safe, divi paying IT to balance out risk. My guess is for modest net profits this year and decent ones next year with a possible small divi then.

Just got a shock looking at size of holding and loss. Cannot justify putting in any more in hope of 'rescuing'. Must regard as total loss and tuck away. If it manages to come back, great but too far down to waste more on.

Agree with posters that buybacks are generally wasteful when they involve meaningful sums which could be spent creatively on bolt-ons which would add to Lloyds offerings to customers, stamping their leading position on UK market. Look what happens to other cos who waste money on buybacks, like NG!

Talk to your broker about buying a bit of protection by enquiring about a 'put option' for the appropriate time(s). You chose well. Highest quality stock and not worth selling unless and until necessary. Could be up about £50 then. What lucky children!

Just bought in here and anticipate will not do a lot over next few weeks, but divi safe and rising and in medium term SP will hover in the 60s. Interest rates in UK will have to rise a bit more and faster than majority believe, otherwise Sterling will crash. Higher rates will strengthen LLOY in medium term. Assuming no hard Brexit and Mrs May stays put, I see these possibly up 25% by Xmas 2019. I accept I am assuming a lot.

Its the other by the sea, me. Not communicated for a while but been reading your news. I have learnt the hard way that whenever an AIM stock looks like its jam tomorrow (which a lot do) you should only invest a small proportion of what you can afford to lose and then be prepared to wait ages longer than you are comfortable with!! I know you were very excited and overcooked this one. The news is solid so far and if you cannot afford to hold your entire investment, hold as much as poss. In a year's time there is a likelihood the price will be in the 20s or even 30s.
In the meantime convince yourself (and possibly others around you) that bread tastes good with dripping!!

RNS should have added 'and all buyers of 100 shares get a free kg bar of gold' This is best and most tangible news in ages. Don't understand reluctance of punters to fill up boots. And I am NOT a ramper, just enjoy a flutter with small sums when they start to go right, which is not often.

Cannot understand this market placing a DUSTBIN value on a highly profitable and much needed service. I am already in here and have no more to invest but I believe a true value now is nearer 180p even with the Sword of Damocles hanging around for another 15 months or so.
