EU HUA is coming, now knowing we get U.K. HUA by default does change the commercial opportunities for Omega, they will have a test that by default has by passed Porton Down

This leaves the door open for the DHSC to use their kit Bo Omega, I guess at that point it’s about price but it is the catalyst to reopen negotiations IF the DHSC wish to.

The interesting bit of info relevant to Omega from the Avacta RNS is the confirmation that EU HUA by default provides U.K. HUA

If / when Omega secures EU HUA it opens up opportunities again with DHSC - tbh I was unsure would EU HUA secure U.K. HUA before today, I had discounted DHSC but we may get another shot at it IF we can get EU approval

Suggest John Henry’s call as 18p to 20p as the bottom for Omega is fair shout - ex Antigen LFT’s

Omega secure EU HUA we now know that includes U.K. HUA

With the a test and 100M capacity we will rerate upwards

I did actually think that Omega would pip Avacta to HUA but it’s not the case, however it’s not bad news for Omega,we now know by securing EU HUA this automatically gives us us U.K. HUA - reading the Avacta RNS

I think realistically we have to discount the DHSC to £zero, it’s not going to happen, the Government are going for price per unit / volume / < Ct25

We can’t touch the Chinese on price, volume and our better accuracy to < Ct27 is not materiel in the governments eyes.

It is was it is.. … private market / higher margin for us once we secure validation
