There is still an opportunity for Omega IF they can clear CTDA/ EU HUA and Governments withdraw free LFT’s for everyone other than public sector settings.

It’s not over for Omega/ Covid Testjng (yet) but they need the validations, alongside DAM and their outsourced sales consultants they could generate some decent ( relative ) sales

Mentioned this one over the weekend, it looks like GAD- at the time -produced duff kit for the Mologic / Avacta buffer/reagent hence both failed PD

So we have Innova which is banned in the USA by the FDA and multiple peer review trials on their LFT showing it’s not accurate but somehow it passed PD and with this award the Chinese head to nicking £4B of LFT’s from the U.K. government and same time the U.K. Government shafting the U.K. diagnostic market

We know Mologic /GAD also provided the initial LFT engineering for Avacta and we can guess this was the complete test that was submitted to Porton Down ?

Is that why Mologic & Avacta failed PD? Nothing to do with the Biotech from either business, it was Ease of Use?

Omega then funded the Ulster Study using their Engineering but using Mologic Biotech , Medusa would have used their own kit when submitting EU HUA ?

Put aside the Mologic biotech was the best performing Antigen test, one item stands out.

Ease of use of the Mologic device was poor, looking at the time frames I suggest Omega carried out their own Ease of use validation in Belfast using their own LFT to clear EU HUA which we are aware of and was called the last piece of the jigsaw by Omega

So is this why Mologic failed Porton Down ? Yet again their biotech comes out top via independent trials but the GAD LFT ease of use failed them?

Put aside Colin is out of his depth - not even the most staunch Colin supporter could argue he’s good enough

We have the double whammy within the business model of not being control of the Biotech - Mologic are not us
Chinese are flooding the market with cheap LFT’s and are undercutting U.K. manufacturers and the U.K. Government offers no support to the domestic market, not even the CTDA process

However this is where Colin can target / push daily on social media

TW, that would be some strategic thinking from Colin in his Alva Bunker instructing the 16th Covid unit to attack but Doris in accounts won’t dress up in uniform and play the game whilst they over look the empty factory floor

Anyone entering the U.K. from yesterday is only required to take an Antigen test, Colin should be coming out fighting, use social media multiple times a day not once a week, get on Sky News, get Gates to assist,we need CTDA clearance, he has nothing to lose now

Colin made his call to JV with Mologic for their biotech & he ‘won’ a management contract from the DHSC for £374M and he entered into the RTC at the Governments bequest

Personally I don’t think those 3 commercial decisions were poor at the time of him making them - they were calculated
Appreciate neither have worked out … yet

Where he did / has missed the boat is not becoming a vertical Covid19 testing business and becoming a DAM so to speak, this would have been highly profitable and Omega could have forged business relationships with other Biotech providers who may have utilised their 100M manufacturing capacity

Being fair he couldn’t have foreseen the shambles this Tory government has made of the British Diagnostic Industry
