Sorry RR: But what do you or Manro know about the "truth"? You're just venting your frustration (which we LTHs all have to deal with BTW). Consequently, you shouldn't act as if you would know anything about the "truth"! If you would I'm sure you can also tell us why you (and Manro) are still hanging around.

I don't agree that MB has led PM into a worse position than the former CEO. I personally believe it couldn't get (much) worse than that. As nobody sees behind the scenes it would appear to be unfair to discredit MB based on personal expectations - which are clearly and justifiably high. Obviously everybody would like to know more about what is going on with PM's operations, license grant procedures etc. If I had lost hope in this company I would have bailed out a long time ago. But I haven't. Why?
I never invested in PM because of MB's capabilities - I was (heavily) invested in PM a long time before he came along. But quite frankly, I'm glad he took over. Just because the SP is not 50p+ at the moment does not mean he is not doing his job.
I invested in PM's potential which - MB or not - is still there (and won't go away for that matter).
Could be that PM's potential will never unfold, could be. But my bet is that it will unfold and make us investors all very happy. As many of you have already said: It's a holding operation. The patient investors will reach their goal.

GKahn: That's very hard to say. Maybe just new investors dipping their toes into uncertainty. Maybe beginners/youngsters trying their luck. In addition, we don't really know what a buyer considers to be a "small amount". From my modest POV I would agree that those type of amounts don't make a lot of sense. However, as long as the buyers keep coming in I don't mind. The pattern we've been seeing for several days now is:
High sales volume vs. low buy volume on one day and then high buy volume vs. low sales volume on the next. I assume this will continue as long as there's no news which would provide at least a bit of guidance.

s2000: A million shares sounds good to me - and: the odds are definitely looking our way.

Clearly a few posters on this BB see multiple obstacles in PM's way before they can evolve (e.g. exploitation license, current oil prices, exploration licenses, funding).

So what are the 655K and other buyers of today betting on?

1. The exploitation license will be granted (sooner or later)
2. The oil prices will rise again (sooner or later)
3. A farm in / JV will be on the cards as soon as the exploration license is granted
3. PM will deal with the expiration of their exploration licenses in accordance with their business plan
4. Funding: Whatever that may look like: PM is in a much better position today to find a solution than before they struck oil.

yesterday's unexpected rise. Nothing to worry about. Let's not forget that the SP is currently priced at an enormous discount considering the oil find and its overall potential. Clearly, the exploitation license has not been granted (yet). And clearly the oil prices have (temporarily) crashed. Both issues are obviously scheduled to change within the next few months and will have a substantial and positive effect on the SP. Today's buyers acknowledge that. Today's sellers are looking for other short term opportunities - good luck with that!

Dear D1nger: I had almost given up hope! Glad to hear you're still around. It's been a long time since (to say the least). I agree completely with you: Things haven't worked out well with PM's plans. A complete disappointment for all investors (particularly those who could have sold @37p at more than 1000% - like me); well, that's how the cookie crumbles. Now that PM has finally found what they're looking for the next obstacles arise. It seems to be a never ending story. What kind of investor must I be to still believe in this chicken s**t outfit (after more than 10 years?) I must be a die hard investor/believer - to the end.
Good to know you're still around. Would love to hear from you on this BB once in a while.

PM's sp is subject to speculation. Surprisingly, there are still plenty of sell willing and obviously frightened holders around. I don't really understand what they may be thinking when selling at these sp levels; but be assured there are a lot of those around as soon as the sp takes off. I.e. the rise will not be in a straight line - depending on the underlying news which triggers the rise of course.

Well SYFP - wouldn't like to see you go; I'm probably not the only BB reader who appreciats your posts. Advice and inspirational too? Looks like you'd like to get reasons for NOT jumping ship. You'll have to figure that one out on your own.

At the current SP levels I (as a LTH for a bit more than 10 years - and in the red) can't come up with a prudent argument for selling below acquisition cost.
Only if I had a crystal ball which would tell me that oil prices would slip even more than we've seen in the last couple of days (and would remain there for many years) or that PM would not be granted an exploitation license this year I would sympathize with the notion of selling.
However, nobody knows what's coming. Personally, I believe PM's business will eventually come good. I keep on saying that it may take longer than any short term investor is willing to wait. Tough luck for short termers - I am willing to wait.

Conclusio: I wouldn't sell. Selling opportunities will be plentiful if you are willing to wait.

You could actually be right. But let's see what the next trading weeks have in store for us investors (in the absence of the exploitation license grant).

Consequently, that would mean nothing less than recommending the LTHs - who are already invested (and therefore need not "commit any [additional] funds"), would be better off if they would sell their shares at this point.

Your posts on this board are interesting and even welcome as long as you're willing to be transparent and not pursuing your personal agenda (which you've obviously been doing in the past).

Yes: There are a lot of "ifs" and "buts" (as with any other O&G company on AIM - BTW). One of the main differences is the enormous potential of PM. I don't believe LTHs with PM are dreamers. Long term investing factors in the short term perils of investing in an AIM company. Some posters seem to be stuck in their short term investing strategy and just can't look further than a few weeks or 3 months (at most). As I've said many times: Most AIM investors are typically short term investors - they're engaged in a completely different ball game.
