are key when investing in the AIM market. As I've said many times AIM attracts mainly short term investors. Posters on this BB with a short term investment strategy will deliver posts on that short term basis - which BTW - clearly turn out to be completely different than a what a mid to long term investor would post.
Being patient - as a LTH - is obviously not always easy as we tend to look at the SP on a daily basis.
I am a LTH. And I am invested in PM for a bit more than 10 years. I was forced to sell part of my holdings; fortunately at a very good price (needless to say, I could've done a lot better if I had sold around February 2017). Nevertheless, I am currently in the green with double digits.
So: Have I been doing something wrong as a LTH? I think not. Even after 10 years I still believe PM will finally become a major oil producer and make all LTHs happy and wealthy.

Dips are pre-programmed. Don't let those fool you (unlike the nervous sellers). Blue trading days - and lots of them - are coming so stick with us LTHs.

but ultimately a >9% rise is very nice - no questions asked. From my (modest) POV the SP is still a lot lower than it should be considering all positives. But then again, let's not get too co*cky about the rises - you never know what the desperate sellers have in mind!
As I said recently we are still far away from our expectations. I guess it will be another year or two until PM actually achieves what it can. But when (and if) it does this will be an investors dream. I look forward to shaking all and any hands of you LTHs when that happens!

the sp rise again to a little bit more normal levels; the sp should never have hit the previous lows in the first place. But that's easy to say when the charts are blue again. You just can't argue with the market. So what is causing the PM craze? Beats me (unless of course there's positive news around the corner which we investors simply have no idea about). My best guess is that the market has picked up on the expectation that something is going to happen shortly and nobody wants to be left out. Fact is: There is no (official) news - sp action is therefore based on pure speculation at this point. That's good enough for me as long as it sustains.
But let's be honest: We're far away from what we invested in PM for. I am hoping that the oil prices return to pre-Covid 19 levels and that the exploitation license is finally granted to PM. And once Heron-1 starts producing: That should help a lot.
This sp deserves to be in the double digit area.

As you all know, it does'nt really matter what we LTHs or other investors believe in. The market will tell you what goes. And the 19% rise today is what the market believes is justified. Everybody has an opinion but nobody knows why this has come to pass.
There may be news coming, maybe not. Take a look at the SP development in Dec. 2016 to Febr. 2017: No news and nothing to write home about. And still the SP rose to 37p. At this point 2.8p is a ridiculously low SP - particularly given the oil strike at Heron. Would be nice to have some news to back up today's rise.

Had you read Persistent's post correctly you will have noticed that he did not claim to be sure about anything. He was simply being positive which - as usual - prompts the usual suspects to crawl out from under their stones.
If you're such a knowledgeable guy then tell us which (realistic) election outcome would be specifically detrimental to PM or any other oil explorer in Mongolia and why?

I truly can't figure that one out either. Clearly those 5 trades were done by the same seller. Looks like PM attracts all sorts of weirdos.

What the hell are you talking about? Are you hanging out at the local pub? Not good.

Learning Latin (or anything else for that matter) by heart is worth zilch if you don't (or don't want to) understand the meaning - which BTW - is more than valid today, more than 2000 years later.

C/S: Never heard anything positive from you concernng PM except when you were ramping it to smithereens at the time you considered it to be beneficial for your own purposes (e.g. in October last year after PM struck oil).
You shouldn't be surprised that you've lost all credibility on this BB.

I suggest that Manro helps putting the "highly qualified Russian oilers" (he repeatedly refers to) in charge. Maybe they can do better than MB. Case in point is: No PM-investor gives a d*mn who finds and pulls the oil out of the Mongolian ground - as long as its done.
