Yes, I'm still here - unfortunately I must say as I didn't recognize the signs of the times in 2017. Luckily however, I don't dwell on PM's past and prefer to look forward. I think PM will do extremely well going forward. Let's see.

a sign of intelligent investing is being displayed - why? Because there are actually investors out there who don't need a RNS to figure out what PM's potential is. Power to them!

****neytaff + HongsKong: You're right: This is Short Term Investor territory just like most or all of AIM is; and "waiting" is not what short term investors have in mind. It took me some time to understand this phenomenon - but it's there and it determines the SP of every company on AIM (unfortunately). The AIM market is determined by short term investors - full stop. The LTHs have hardly any impact. Opposed to the short termers (hoping to make 10-20%) the LTHs are looking to make multiples of their investment - a completely different strategy - which requires patience. Let the short termers do their thing and let us LTHs wait for the big prize. As we all know - all of us are ultimately just speculating.

The uncertainties and lack of official information could actually make any investor nervous.
The options are on the table:
1. Sell your stake
2. Wait for the positive surprises PM has in store for us PIs (for a change!)
3. Emphasize the negatives, make everyone nervous and either sell or hold.
4. Did I miss anything?

what the status is concerning the issues mentioned several times on this board we will be seeing the usual up and down with the SP. The longer PM takes to get the (hopefully positive) information out I fear that the overall downward movement will continue (today being an exception). Just my opinion.

could actually get MB (or any other company executive) to talk informally (as discussed below) they've got my full admiration. Clearly, we PIs would love to hear anything beyond the "information" in the previous company RNSs.

Informal chats with company CEOs may actually be possible (especially over a couple of drinks!) and I congratulate investors who've been able to gain (non-public) company information that way. However, that doesn't change the regulatory requirements which company employees - particularly the executive management - need to adhere to.

No question: I know I've said this before (apologies!) but from my POV selling at these SP levels will result in a loss. The chances that PM and its SP will finally recover are a great deal higher than the downside. I hate being patient but I've gotten used to it with PM over the years. But what I hate even more is a loss due to impatience!

Toblerone. GGP will clearly need to do better if it wants to reach "multibagger" status. I really hope you do well and know when to jump ship when it's best. Been thru this with PM in 2017.

Agreed sands1971: However, as the local issues are an ongoing process they can be considered to be not yet finalized which would not obligate PM to issue a RNS; once a (unexpected) delay is actually confirmed or unavoidable than PM will have no other choice than to communicate. Once again: Due to the lack of information we investors can only guess what is going on. I assume it is normal that - as an investor - you prepare for the worst; and that appears to be how the market is currently reacting.
Once these - presumed - obstacles are out of the way I personally believe PM will finally begin to reap the rewards.

GKahn: You may just be right about the local issues (unfortunately). If it were so, however, I would expect PM to inform its investors why there should be a hold up - even if such information would have a negative impact on the SP. From my POV: Keeping investors in the dark would clearly not be the way to go. It appears that at this point we - investors - are forced to speculate on what is actually going on behind the scenes. Agreed: Not good.

Dimvestor: I hope your strategy works out well.
Gold exploration is a great investment if the company actually turns out to be successful - lot of land mines there however(particularly if they haven't actually found the big gold). Investing in Gold alone is a bad bet at the current (highest) gold price levels since years.
Why you claim PM "is not in a good place right now" is a mystery to me. Don't understand what you mean if you compare to the last 2+ years - but from my POV it's never been better than now. Maybe you're referring to the local permit issues. Personally, I can't imagine that those issues could substantially weaken PM's situation. But then again I'm not a fortune teller.
I understand that most of us are impatient and also disappointed that PM's oil find has boosted the SP as it should have. I am convinced that this will happen very soon.

answers the question whether the sells are drying up. Looks like there are still plenty of share holders around who are willing to sell their shares at these ridiculously low sp levels.
