PM's shares in issue amount to 670 million. 75% of those are in public hands (according to PM's statement on it's home page).
Therefore, there's a huge amount of shares out there to be sold / purchased. It'll take more than today's (or recent days') trading volume of 1.4 mio to shift the SP into a higher gear.
The trading turnover we've seen during the last couple of days is chump change displaying no real/sustainable effect. I expect this to change dramatically going forward.

Laker23: Looks like you're new around here. My guess is as good as anybody's - that won't help you if you're looking for investment advice. I anticipate a SP rise - dependent on several factors - to happen before the drilling season 2020 (in Mongolia) ends. Consequently, you need to take a long term view (until end of year). Clearly, I'm hopeful that we will see a very positive development of the SP as soon as PM begins to suck the black stuff out of the ground. That should happen sometime during the second half of this year.

I'm not sure about the "cup and handle" but 12 months should easily do the job - that is of course if you can live with a 200 - 500% gain.
BTW: I am not being overly optimistic. Once PM starts going - which will probably be this year - the sky is the limit.

Although I wish your "bullish opportunty" finally materializes I can't help noticing that the bears appear to be in charge. I actually keep wondering where all those sell shares are coming from; several posters on this board recently mentioned that that (selling) source should be dried up by now. Far from as it looks since days - and who knows - maybe even more to come (even at these SP levels?).

I recall Mike Buck saying that a (limited) placing would be an option - at the same time he also mentioned he would rather choose other options than further diluting the SP. At the current SP I wonder what good a "limited" placing could do. There are plenty of placing investors who pitched in @ around 10p last time.
Bottom line from my modest POV: PM will want to find other means to fund whatever needs to be funded going forward; clearly that does not completely exclude a placing - but altogether it makes a placing highly improbable.

Obelix: The way I see it, Neeko has got it right. There's no government I know of which (voluntarily) puts itself under time pressure - only those who seek government services. Consequently, we can only hope that those government servants get their act together and process the exploitation license asap.

d/h: I admit that you've got a good idea for yourself and your followers and that your balanced opinion should determine your investment decisions.
I simply consider your "balanced opinion" to be driven by your hidden agenda. My "balanced opinion" is more like the one Bones15 voiced @14.14 today.

As a secretary to the board of a listed company nobody needs to tell me what goes and what not.
I just don't like and accept the excuse "I can't respond for legal reasons".
