Regarding August 19 (which may be a bit optimistic) we are talking about a secondary target with Red Deer. As far as I know its primary target is scheduled to be hit first week of September - if earlier please let us know.

I am extremely pleased to read that PM’s management has quickly resolved the Heron-1 hold up issue and that they can immediately resume the drilling operation. Looking at the SP development today I’m probably not the only one to be pleased!
However, (as mentioned above) let’s not forget that our sentiments tend to shift from negative to positive (or vice versa) on a daily basis. So let’s enjoy this great moment and try to manage future news – if not so brilliant – without losing our composure.

We LTHs know what we believe will happen. We've gone so far and deserved a positive outcome this year. However, in the absence of any comprehensive information it remains to be speculation. You can't blame anybody for negative speculation - it's human. Those who are convinced that they have taken the right path should stick to it - irrespective of any negative posts they may read here.

who we - time and again - hear from on this board: In a situation like this (which appears to be fairly typical for PM): What good is any scientific analysis or chart methodology? Probably not much.

Given today's SP slide (was 13+% just before closing!) I am wondering (and fearing) how the coming trading days or (hopefully not!) weeks will turn out if PM's communication efforts fail to provide some comprehensive insight into this idiotic situation.

We didn't deserve this. CRAP!!!

1. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, particularly concerning Heron-1;
2. If we don't get a "heads up" by the end of this week nobody can claim PM DID NOT screw up. In that case PM will need to take responsibility for a SP which will hit levels around or even below 5p.
3. The way I understand M. Buck is: He hates to communicate non-information, i.e. PM's communications must contain concrete information or even results as opposed to stuff that makes investors feel a bit more comfortable - without providing any background information.

flava: According to the capital structure as displayed on PM's home page (to be found under the "investors" tab),
Petrovis Matad Inc. hold 146,095,580 ordinary shares which account for 22.06% of the total share capital of PM in issue (as per today).
As the total amount of shares in issue are 662mio. that would seem to be correct.
What do your numbers refer to?

No Sundaysun: This was not an "overlook". PM played by the rules - and still they end up in this situation. If it weren't this it would be something else. Loopholes are all over the place when local politicians get gready.
I am wondering why the central government and Petrovis are unable to put pressure on the locals and resolve this.

Whatever the situation actually is...PM need to
1. Resolve asap (within 1 week)
2. If 1. (above) cannot be achieved then PM need to inform the market of the current situation and what measures they are taking to address the situation.
3. Assess the potential time required to get the situation resolved (which they will not do of course).

John: Although we don't know what's going on behind the scenes I believe you're right when you say that this issue was brought up at a planned point in time which would potentially hurt PM most. I can't help saying that this is a black mail operation which PM unfortunately have fallen victim to. Since there are so many (knowledgable) Mongolians in the ranks of PM I can hardly believe that this has turned out to catch PM by surprise.
