Trek: Instead of making pre-announcements why don't you just do what you think you need to do? Or are you looking for confirmations from this board?

Sundaysun: You can blame Mike all you want of course - but what do you think you'll achieve by doing that? All you're really doing is displaying your frustration. Why don't you just send an e-mail to Mike mentioning all that you think he did wrong?
Or why don't you just keep your cool and adjust your investment strategy if necessary?
One thing's for sure: Nobody on PM's behalf will react to your tirades however aggressive they may be. You should know that by now.

Obelix, my personal opinion: I would take that trade as a hint to where the sp will be going in the next few days or weeks.

Correction: Clearly, I didn't mean "a couple of mio. short termers" - although that would be nice. I meant a couple of mio. shares held by short termers.

Cosmic: The more you own, the more painful it get's. However, panic selling doesn't do the job - but everybody's got their own strategy.
I would agree that if this decrease is able to flush out a couple of mio. short termers - being replaced by "not so short term minded investors" - then this event will have a positive effect.

I don't really think it makes sense putting the blame on Mike Buck, PM's board or anything else. It is how it is - and I look forward to the company settling this ridiculous mishap shortly - as I believe selling off the shares at these levels can only - if at all - make sense for short term minded investors.
As some other poster said on this board today nothing has changed other than the time schedule. Clearly, I am hoping for a short slip. But once this issue is solved PM (and we) can go about our business again.

SuperRoty: Looks like I may be on a different page here. From my - as usual - modest POV I disagree that an oil strike on Heron-1 is "factored into the SP". How could that be when we see investors continously selling who fear a duster (or a placing for that matter)? A strike on Heron-1 will propel the SP - no doubt about it.
The market would only factor such an event into the SP if it were convinced that the respective event were unavoidable. That clearly isn't the case. AIM is and remains to be a gambling arena.

Donkee, flava, Manro - this is the deal (regarding visiting Mongolia):
If - but only if - PM's efforts and success makes us rich, it would be our damn obligation to visit the originators of our wealth and donate something in return. The downside is of course that if we lose our investment nobody will give a damn.
However, if things go well, i.e. according to PM's (success) schedule, you can count me in to visit. No questions asked.

If I could do any good I'd go. However, I doubt that - BTW wouldn't even know where (in Mongolia) to go to - do you?

Donkee: I can't remember the first time you showed up on this board - but it would be about a year or two ago.

However, I remember very well that filetmignon was an authority on this board at a time TRASHING was simply unknown (what a great place this was!). Since then ecrictheviking, D1nger and some other very special posters have left this space and - I must say - I miss them dearly.

I cannot recall anyone going by the name of "Old Indian". Maybe that person changed his/her name?

paolo111: Thanks for sharing your view on MATD and beyond. There's something good about getting an idea of how the investor market is looking at potential investments beyond MATD. Personally, I don't believe there's a more attractive offer than MATD at this time -but I guess everybody needs to figure that out for themselves.

How many? flava: I have 150K shares and am willing to give them away @£2 each. As a LTH I have plenty of time to get to that point. Just a matter of years (or decades).

Predicting the SP on a Heron-1 hit is a very difficult call. Once that happens the hopes and phantasies of the market could push the SP to much higher levels than 20p as non materialized and long time expectations would - finally - kick in. However, 15-20p would probably reflect the actual value at such time. Let's not forget all those placement investors who MAY POSSIBLY be sick and tired of waiting for things to happen. Respective sells could put the breaks on a rise.

It all remains to be seen - but as I keep saying: Anything is possible on AIM. This is the gambling arena par excellence.

opulentia: I understand what you're getting at and - especially from an emotional POV - I tend to agree. However, if I were invested in a NYSE or even NASDAQ company I would feel a lot more comfortable with checking once a week. On AIM however, you need to be "à jour" with current events on a daily basis. What was PM's SP a week ago - around 8.6p? We are - one trading week later - at 7.15p. That's more than a 16% decline.
As a LTH I prefer not to react to short term SP developments - unless I would be forced to. Luckily, I am not. However, there may be PIs who have been holding out for many years like I have and who may be forced to sell at least some of their shares from time to time. These people will be looking at the daily SP development on a daily basis. Nothing wrong with that - to me it makes sense. It's the short termer investors who pose a problem.
