Maybe they have figured that they're going down and they might as well burn. Or they might be very happy with their xxx million shorting profit and take what comes as a consequence.

If I'd bought at 1400p a few weeks ago though this would not be a game and I'd be mad as hell. I hope the Burford team take a degree of righteous anger and deploy it well. If the FCA doesn't look at this they will be even more of a laughing stock than they already are.

Valhalla - agreed; sentiment is key. Short term, that is. In any other time frame, value will out. Once the traders see the volatility evaporate and the LTHs are surer of a more stable entry / re-entry price, this will resume the upward trajectory - hopefully nice and steadily.

Thank you for confirming (!) and I must say we are all very grateful to you for your definitive and reassuring information.

It’s all part of the move down the risk cycle for Kerogen .... Kerogen like to support new energy companies with a new technical or other advantage (look at their stated strategy & approach). I think HUR is increasingly becoming derisked and they of course know it better than most. With the new ii in on the 11th and this move yesterday evening, we are seeing a shifting of the HUR proposition down the risk curve. There are always transaction costs as the ball is passed down the line. But the fact that it is being passed down the line is a very good thing and says something far more positive about confidence than what any short term drop will tell us today.

Have a look at what happened when major investor James Hudleston scaled back from 20 to around 15 and then more - lots of speculation and despair. The truth was he’d done with his part of the (very risky) end of the investment cycle & wanted to put his risk money elsewhere. Kerogen the same. Don’t forget they still have 75% of their holding and lots of skin in the game.

Hi guys - got this notification from FDA in my inbox this morning - do we read any significance into it? (It was approval for 3 new formulations. Interestingly nothing on their label (you can view it) regarding liver toxicity despite the results being very similar to those of Iclaprim from what I've picked up.

You'll laugh! Thank you for the AMP thoughts... sold a bit (only a little) of HUR to buy AMP part way through - ended up 36% up so very grateful to you all. Will reinvest in HUR after 13th and when it looks like we've got the rope organised - timing 'might' be perfect. It doesn't feel as though we're going to be hooking up before then...

I can't quite work out what the leveraging value of the warrants is so if anyone is very kind enough to share thoughts on this then I'd be doubly grateful.

Any thoughts on who might make a good 'strategic' partner as GL mentioned in an interview last year? Presumably an existing hospital based operator with an interest in infection control looking to add this to their suite of available antibiotics? Or another organisation? Surgically led? Any thoughts most welcome!
