Thatlldo, there are zero commission platforms now that enable people to invest pennies or pounds at a time. That is the majority of very small trades explained, the rest are as THGambler said. Some traders/investors forget about monthly fees so shares are sold to cover the monthly fee by the broker the client uses. THere is also the possibilty of algos trading in the background but generally it's the IIs/spreadbetting platforms that do that and not PIs unless they pay for an algo or cook one up themselves.

Denby, I've been long since October 23rd 2019 :) Best 140 quid punt I'll ever make and yes. I have ridden everything. From the Jupiter Capitol Bear attack, suspension, the heady heights of 40+p a share all the way to the 14p nonsense to today.
This burger flipper is confident he will lay the foundations of escaping the rat race via EUA as despite not topping up here along the way I have a very diverse portfolio despite it all being AIM barring 1 of 14 holdings. I have gone from a PF of -93% with SXX to a PF of =120 odd % in 2 years. And EUA makes up for a lot of that correction. So when EUA comes good I will not only keep my shares as per company comms around special divi but I'll also have some 2.2 million shares in other companies.
MFW I've been lucky to hit 11k earnings these past 8 years of my life between long term counselling, work accidents and part time min wage zero hour work. Also mfw I have 14k shares in EUA.

Well, barring the fact I gotta go to work in a couple hours and the head chef is on holiday leaving me in charge of a dude who really needs to retire and a new starter. The second is going to be updated as it does not take into account the latest RNS. ACF is paid for it's services in research valuation so take that into account. But also note how things like rhodium and irridium are not included.

Not to repeat myself but given issues around the prevelance of prediabetes I suspect the application of this pill will go beyond diabetes type 1 and 2 sufferers. A simple blod sugar check if one tests positive for a corona family virus could prevent many hospitalisation events imo.

Took a while, like 2019 a while, but enjoying the free ride. Not many shares left but not really concerned. If I found a grand on the ground I could list at least 10 AIM shares I'd sooner put that on than GR's PREM. And that is just the low MCAPs I'm watching. I wish the everyday LTH luck however any newbies to those learning the ways of The Roach. This zero hour burger flipper would sooner listen to Acker than Snowking.

And how many people live a life of being clinically prediabetic without even knowing it? Modern diets are after all very rich in non complex carbohydrates. Could this explain why people are seemingly getting diabetes once infected with Covid? It is exaspperating/highlighting an underlying condition. Either way this oral pill will be more widely applicable than many think IMO.

What price in VELA Ian? I also fully loaded up in VELA but did so back in June and made sure to top slice at a price point in the rise that meant I am comfortable with the inenvitable AIM shenanigans but still hold, by my peon standards, a lot of shares. The 342 quid I just chucked in here was from that VELA trade, I'm starting to focus on compounding interest out of the dealing account and into my ISA.

This took a while to sort out, how I long for the days of not living from pay cheque to pay cheque (perenial issues of no dry powder), but finally got my ISA position and slightly more shares than when I first invested at about 0.14 and split between dealing and ISA. Over to you Timor Leste, you want money. I want money. So let's make some moneyyyy.
