Great to see you posting on any moniker :) Already made some good money (to me) while retaining a solid holding in that other low mcap bioshare you mentioned to busymum and that tip led to a more matured bio but in similar vein. SDC1802 is one of their drug molecule assets. Anyway. I had COPL on a watchlist but alas, never had the capitol to get a position of any sort before it delisted and lacked the risk appetite to take on another holding when it relisted.
Another one that got way, KOD and ARB being others. but I am fortunate.
Only 33 and well set up (140 quid in EUA when it was 0.98p...best punt ever) to make up for 13 years of bad life decisions, career choices and work accidents. Far from easy living but doing better than most my age in a similar position. And I can thank your good self for some of that PF positioning. To many more days to share with your nearest and dearest.

I'm having a rather fun time of nothing but NT to sell a couple hundred quids worth in another holding of mine so I could grab some more BOIL in the trading account today before grabbing some in ISA tomorrow. Typical, when you want to liquidate you can't at the right moment.

Not to be that guy but been trying to sell 5000 shares to cover something elsewhere that I desire (one of those low mcap moves). Halifax has been going to NT for an hour on anything over 100 shares. To this still wet behind the ear investor it shows there are already plenty of shares out there without much appetite for more needing to find a home. That should supress selling appetite so could well be the bottom on anything close to 6p.

IMO A HNWI or family thereof would contact their broker who would then contact Boils broker and request a subscription to raise, typically at a discount to SP. Probably be a bunch of warrants attached as well so that could be a double edged sword for PIs down the road.
So I'm not putting much credence in this rumour. But what do I know, I'm still flipping burgers for a living with his finger hovering over the buy button but no gosh darn liquid capitol.

Oh the irony, I should have just bought in my trading account this morning as those funds had not cleared for ISA investment yet and Halifax won't let me clear them today despite phoning them. Somewhat frustrating but always good to see blue.

Hi Shouston, I have a feeling if not for a backlogged lab center we'd be in countdown mode but as ever. Patience is a virtue but I'm keeping the space faring suit on just in case of unexpected call for departure. As for boil I went from being spiked to selling out at a small loss to get an average of 0.059 as opposed to 0.114 after the last placing. Probably one of the better moves I have made these past few years of investing. Had to sell a couple hundred thousand to cover a cash call but now in position to get those shares back but in ISA form tomorrow.

I'll escape the rat race yet! Speaking of which, to work I go. GLA and good health.

Seems like someone had their feathers ruffled. Much like I don't care what CNN or the BBC says I don't really care what "the media" (bloomberg et al) vis a vie investing says. Just because markets are closed does not mean sentiment can't change or events cannot unfold that demand consideration even without active media coverage. Let alone the fact "the media" can only be reactive as opposed to proactive.
Also, appeal to authority fallacy noted and don't discount the power of "alt tech" ie somebody with a webcam and a following on non censored platforms like bit-chute (no hypon in it but the algo thinks you are swearing so censors it without the hypon) effecting sentiment shifts. Or even dying platforms like drossbook or t w a tter. Elon Musk tweets anyone?
Anyone in media would know all about this however :)

Stmaiq, I wish Greene King would allow me a specials board but it's a no go. They want a person to walk into a pub in Edinburgh and find the same stuff as they would in London. Like, really. I'm a smoggie and I have everything I need to make some mean in house parmos but will they let me? Noooo.
Closest we get to specials are challenge dishes like 4x 8 oz rump steak cut up on a plate with red onions, pepper and a camembert wheel melted over it. Served with ciabatta garlic bread, some peppercorn sauce and beef dripping gravy and double chips.

Breaks my heart when I have to do it well done let alone very well done. Which happens all too often (Gordon Ramsey noises intensify).

Similar to you Nelson. Come October 23rd it will be 2 years since I put what I could at the time into EUA. 140 quid lol. I'm hoping to make up for a little over 15 years of bad career choices and go down to 1 or 2 days a week in the pub kitchen I work in. I'm looking at a top slice here now we are above 0.1 buttt also feel confident that Friday will be a better day for such things.

It's been a helluva couple of weeks between real life. VELA, EUA and a couple others. Are shares like buses? In that you spend ages waiting for one and then 3 come at once? Not complaining mind. GLA.

Just raised a wee dram in ode to our BB stalwarts. Only famous grouse as I'm keeping my 19 year single malt sealed for when the deal map gets slapped on deck. I personally only found issue in holding upon occasion as I had a couple of cash calls along the way but other holdings were put on the bloc before these Pd tickets. Thankfully it seems like a couple of things are all coming together at the same time so such cash calls should become a thing of the past.

I've only got 7800 shares here. But this EUAer is very, very patient. And also rather happy these past few days :) Taken wayyy longer than I expected but the dream of escaping a dead end burger flipping job is feeling rather real at the moment.

Gosh, the zero hour part time burger flipper has seen has portfolio of a measly 7200 quid grow by 3 grand in 3 weeks. And not all due to EUA but mostly. Said it before and I'll say it again, best 140 quid punt I will likely ever make in my life.
It's been a hellish couple of months but I'm finally smiling again and looking forward to the future. Here's to actually putting a date on the York party dudes and dudettes. I work with a lass who has a cake making business on the side so if people like that idea of mine for a big cake with the words You've been jubbed/jubbered on, followed by a list with the likes of TBTT, TMS, Jupiter Capitol et al; I can get the cake sorted lol.
