The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Could possibly be held up by Judge Kawaley's two week break. Writing judgements up for the remainder of the week now, Although a holiday on Friday. Hopefully new info will break regarding the 27th March or even the 15th April case next week. Do we need to register with the Cayman court site to gain access to writings tsbs ? I'll register now if that is the case.
Has anyone had a go at finding the report from the last court case on 27th March ? How do we go about obtaining this info, Is it possible through the Caymans grand court page ? I'd think some new info must be in the domain by now.
bunny springs to mind, This seems to go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on..........
Don't fancy the dividend much.... But I'd take anything as a result moving forward. If relisted on a market, I presume I could bed and isa what allowance I have left and pay CGT on the remainder over my personal limit ?
Is it mandatory they take either one of these routes if the company progress as a private company ?
I haven't had a holding in a private company before, So I have no understanding of being a shareholder in one. If frr win the court case, I presume we can receive a dividend without relisting ? Is there anything to say that the company needs to relist on a market again and is either the dividend or relist option mandatory ?
Managed to grab a few at 1.89, Happy holding from here. gla
That's quite a recent article written on 21-03-2019 Goit.
I clicked the red link in the article ' Some little known details about Frontera and the concession contract ' which is dated 09-03-2017. https://www.mold-street.com/?go=news&n=5677
Is Mold Street a reputable source ? I have to wonder, The whole thing seems a bit thrown together ?
It meant enough to me to post it when I found it pyrotech, As most here are looking for any little scrap of info during this complete blackout.
If nothing else it confirms as of 25th March, There is no resolution to the court case. That's not to say things haven't progressed since then during the 27th March hearing but until any new news breaks, We remain in the darkroom.
Thanks for shining a bit of light on this. On my initial viewing, It made me think an oocs was a distance away but we simply don't know what is going on in the background. This paper is purely from one side of the case too, So it will paint them in the best light if that's even possible......
I read three amounts on the hedge funds : $ 33,828,000 , $ 22,145,000 & $ 9,670,000 totaling $ 65,643,000
Back to the darkness I suppose, Really wish someone would drop by and feed us sometime soon.
So unsure if this has been already been flagged up ? I had some free time, So I decided to search through google in an attempt to find something new. I found this paper which was signed off by Stephen Hope on 25th March 2019, Two days before the last court hearing.
https://adviserinfo.sec.gov/IAPD/content/ViewForm/crd_iapd_stream_pdf.aspx?ORG_PK=130152
These types of documents are above me but the last three pages highlight the case / claims and it also states that Outrider / Hope expect to succeed in court.
I would be interested to hear views from anyone with more understanding of the paper than me. Thanks, ofb
Money moving to ast I suspect....
Your post looks to have had the desired effect for you sea7, You'll be making a return soon I presume ?
At an mcap of 29m, This isn't currently valued anywhere near the 1100 estimate imo.
Someone with the confidence to throw around £1.5 million is a sure enough sign for me to stay put.....
May well be another big buyer to follow...
Locked n loaded, 10p gonna get pounded now... GLA :)
Fundraise for what ? Upcoming drill works are already financed.
I bailed from my entry in December, Banked my original investment and now on a free carry. No doubt others have done the same. Buys v sells where near on par today and I think this has the fundamentals to keep running.... Some good news early next week and the current momentum will keep going. At the current mcap, This has the potential to hit major highs moving forward. It's still the aim market though, So anything is possible. New tax haven starts Monday, So the market should be interesting.
Degsy posted this yesterday Bedex :
GOG were issued 9.55 mn shares @4p on 13 March, taking their holding to over 42 mn shares (over 15%). At 4p, these were valued at £1.7 mn. They have since sold 14 mn shares (one third of their holding, probably at around 6p each, at a 50% margin to the issue price. Their new holding of 28 mn shares (over 10%) is still worth £1.7 mn @6p, but they now have a net cash gain of £280k. That seems sensible portfolio management. I doubt they're in the least disappointed with the positive operational news this week, which has netted them £280k profit within 3 weeks!
Last push this half hour before the end of a great week. Might have a beer tonight. Hopeful of some of the same next week. GLA
