Here’s an interesting thought, was looking at a particular artist on google over the weekend, I noticed under the google title line for that artist there is a box called ‘Listen’ in that box there are five click through options all providing a one off payment or subscription based means of paying for the artists music, YouTube, Spotify, Deezer, Google Play Music, and Tunein. No mention of melody VR. So I searched some more artists found the same listen box for every artist I searched. Same 5 options for everyone but still not melody, not even for artists listed on its app or website. Did some research and it appears that for every click through resulting in a payment for content on the 5 listed providers Google receives a small payment from that site, couldn’t find out how much, so don’t know how much it would cost, but it seems to me that here’s another great opportunity missed. Imagine searching for an artist and being given the opportunity to click straight through to the melody app and purchase content for that artist. Begs the question has melody missed an opportunity here, not just to make money on content, but also to place its name next to 5 big music content providers.

Equally there are some on this site who will suggest anything to try and encourage people to buy more, this time next week, month, year etc we will all be millionaires Rodney! yet when we post a counter agreement and Bad bat asks for evidence he just ignores you when it’s posted. Yes invest if you want to take a chance or a (very) long term position, but make your own balanced view

Yep, we got EE and Vodafone already live with o2 due by the end of Dec, plenty on 5g in both shops but no mention of melody

Was under the impression that the o2 deal had started but been into 2 o2 stores today nothing advertising the melody package in the stores and the sells staff didn’t mention it as part of the new iPhone deal.

Horse, it’s a sad fact of life that difference of opinion will often generate a lack of basic courtesy particularly online.
However I started investing Dec 2014, I now work two days a week, down from 5. I have a good portfolio, spread between long term, divi income, and short term trading. Since Aug 2017 I’ve made 12 each way trades here, have a good profit to show for it. Only have profit invested and have taken out sufficient profit to enjoy a delux bespoke tour of South Africa for 2, and we are looking forward to our 4th foreign holiday this year including South Africa. If you want luxury I would def recommend the Blue Train!

No my assumption and it is just that, is that based on web traffic counts ( which are so low they don’t even register) and social media key word searching for secondary customer posts beyond primary artist posts, is that either the message isn’t getting out there or there still isn’t the take up yet. So should there be more involvement with physical traditional advertising? I’m in a great position in that I have traded out my own money and invested purely on profit, so unless there’s the chance to take another profit, I’m sitting on my shares. So no I don’t want to see it fail, in fact I want it to go up, even if it’s just to take another profit, and then off course drop back down one last time (but that just me being greedy) but I do think that some of the blind unquestioning loyalty is almost Stepford investing.
Finally my posts are not aimed at any investor on this board, PIs rarely hold enough to influence the SP, More towards EVR who hopefully monitor.

37 people like the o2 MelodyVR video. At the risk of being called negative not the best numbers, and not really a great percentage.

I know it hit 18.06 on 30/04/18 as that was the first time I sold having bought at 7.44 , I know it hit the low 19s within a day or so. I think from memory 30th April 18 was some type of launch with Facebook or something similar.

It’s not the first digital platform I’ve invested in, but having traded out all of my own money, and just profit invested I’m willing to give it a run, one of the basics of SM influencer use I have seen on other digital platforms is not to just name the product, but to also include a click through to the product platform, it really concerns me that all of these high flying industry experts we are paying for haven’t utilised stuff like that.

Any online based company should have as a basic a Social Media keyword search software licence such as Brandwatch, to monitor SM uptake and direct their SM activity, I would love to know if they have, and if so why they think they aren’t getting customer SM take up.

I’m holding at the moment so would like to see a sp increase but....
1. Social media keyword search, SM activity is all primary artist based, there is little or no secondary customer SM activity, and even less SM customer satisfaction recorded.
2. Web based traffic to the melody site is so low, it doesn’t register with monitoring software, that has to have a negative impact on headset numbers.
3. I have registered 7 web addresses for updates, never had any engagement from that.
The potential customer base clearly isn’t engaged in any sufficient numbers, should they be looking at more traditional advertising platforms to target potential customers. As an example Apple, Boohoo Spotify, have moved to radio and TV not just SM influencers. For a music based product, radio would seem an obvious advertising outlet.
Finally in terms of the SP taking off, if customer uptake isn’t increasing by any significant amount
What is the driver for a permanent SP increase.
Using my standard formula there is no real increase in the average SP low or high.

I did make the point that everyone has an opinion and is entitled to their own beliefs, I strongly believe It will come good, but likely to take a while, I’m suggesting somewhere around 2023.
How sad that differences of opinions are treated so harshly.

First invested here Aug 17 at 7.7, since then we have had promises of live shows, three so far if you include the nobody could log in GMA, changes of direction, headsets, live shows, music, theatre shows, their own headset launched by the end of summer? I started day trading about 10 months ago, and since then finally making some money from this share. I haven’t seen the promised or implied progress, admittedly I don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes, but that doesn’t make me wrong or others wrong, it’s an opinion. Having used day trading to build up a nice holding I look forward to the share finally performing, but in the meantime I will continue to day trade and have my own opinion, backed by the lack of visible progress

As someone who rarely posts, but has followed the conversations for the last couple of years, I really don’t see how EVR can progress without keeping to at least some of its promises.
Sadly posts from this time last year and the year before show little or no progress, we were all hoping for progress in time for last Christmas, we were all hoping for progress the previous Christmas.
I have long come to the conclusion that this share is a daily traders delight and quite possibly the only way to make a profit

Why would two people who both have shares in this company start a rumour to deramp, that is ridiculous.

AEG promote artists, under contract, venues, and festivals, manage venues on behalf of landlords hence my friend works at a venue as a manager employed by AEG, they act as a click through to ticket providers as authorised agents, they could just as easily provide a click through to VR, there were also some links a couple of weeks ago to news articles about AEG and VR, everyone is entitled to an opinion I just shared something that might be of interest.
