And no I’m not smug I was answering a polite question, I research before I invest, not just individual companies, but also the level of risk attached to the index.

Only for AIM, plus something said by Timothy Sykes, if you haven’t made a profit within 6 months with penny shares the odds are against you, ride the raises and dump on the falls. Did well out of Boohoo, and Applied Graphene Materials amongst others, and did pretty well out of Naps overall. If it climbs I can get back in maybe losing a couple of pence per share on a future raise, and if it crashes I’m out with profit, seems like an ok investment strategy.

Yet it’s still a risk, according to FT (2015) something that should be read before investing in AIM companies, 72% of all AIM companies ever listed have decreased in value, with an estimate of more than 30% of companies shareholders have lost more than 95% of their investment. In fact the article suggests that non listed companies are more likely to succeed using crowd funding or private investors than make it on AIM. Yes there have been exceptions some spectacular, but their increase in SP tends to be quick rather than long drawn out gains. Not great odds.

One artist $700k do you ever ask yourself why Melody aren’t still producing new content whilst waiting for the new app, after all they could still be using the old Melody app in the meantime and generating an income.

More than working to convince people, I read last week on the BBC that Zara Larsson has made $700k from VR performances on the Roblox gaming platform during lockdown, that includes selling virtual merchandise so all the little gamers could dress their avatars in virtual tour t shirts. I’m guessing the t shirts say ‘I wasn’t really there’

After the Naps merger was released I looked into Deezer. £300 million funding needed to be a bit part player, millions spent on tv radio and bill board advertising. 17 million users but estimated only 7 million subscribers. Substantial bleed of subscribers to Spotify even in France where Deezer is based. That’s with 77 million tracks. We have a social media person, that’s the digital version of word of mouth, It’s going to cost millions to be anything other than slowly losing subscribers to the bigger boys. We are starting from a position of years of decline in a company that the previous owners seemed very happy to get rid of.

No I invested at 7p got my initial investment and some profit out at 14 and 18, done a few day trades and got the remains of my profit out a couple of weeks ago. Every single one of my examples, happened or not, has resulted in speculative comments about how this was ‘the one that would be the game changer’ Why should the new app be any different?. If it is I’ve got a target price to get back in, but based on track records I’ve got serious doubts, hence I got out, and I invested and was a believer as far back as 2017. So can anyone answer my previous question?

It’s all about the new app now, just like I it’s previously been about the link up with Face book, the previous app release, John Gore, Oculus, live shows at the two venues, trading starting in the new Naps share. Can somebody perhaps answer me one question?
Since April 2018 SP 18p and today SP under a penny, what announcements, releases, link ups, shows, app releases has resulted in a sustained increase in the share price?

I have both are in my notes, another example of the many this will make us all rich comments and then it never happens.

And many of these new investors/posters regardless of their point of view have no digital footprint other than on here.

At one point I was looking at them as a possible turnaround but looked too risky, from my notes at the time, they needed somewhere around $500 mil funding to get to the point where they would get product out of the ground, and $200 mil just to last another year. But loads of claims from the company about how they would add 7% to GPD etc. I know I’m sad but yes I do keep notes about company claims of progress and adverse comments in media etc.

Morning Dan, Sirius mining shares were at a 22p high at one point, down to around 5p About March 2020 and about to go bust, they were bought out by Angelo American for 5.5p with most shareholders losing money. This was his comment in Aug 2019 ‘Why the h**l are these doom-mongers spouting all this cr*p. The mine is in no danger and is well under construction. Go on their website!! This will be a £1 -£2 share within 2-3 years.Mark my words... Now breathe..........’
