Napster £10 per month 30 days free Search for a track on most search engines including Google and Safari and you are directed to a click through to Spotify, Deezer, YouTube Apple Music etc but not Napster. No doubt they all pay something for each click, but dare I suggest thar whilst we still have a functioning app pending the new (coming soon) app that’s another trick we have missed. Presumably none of them would bother if it wasn’t worth their while, I would imagine they must do some analysis around cost against revenue.
The quote is that Boiler room will remain an independent entity powered by Dice no mention of a new app.

Out there is possibly best, Napster/ Melody has no connection to the Abbatar performances, and it isn’t a tour it’s a bespoke venue in east london on the old Olympic site. Spielbergs company did all the CGI. Tickets are already available for the venue

I’ve heard it all in my time on here, the hook up with Facebook, the oculus headset, the Melody app, the Melody headset, live nation, the two venues, live shows, John Gore just to name a few. Always when it, they happen the shares will take off. Then Napster, wait for the release of the financials, the app... oh such a wonderful outcome in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021. Now the same people will witter on about 2022, whilst Spotify et al are given still more time to mop up the market.

Yes it did work the annoying thing for me is we were positioned to corner the vr and steaming market, lockdown gave us the perfect opportunity to supply a market deprived of live performances and we failed completely to corner that market. We even invested in two venues and produced jack all.

But on the plus side we have seen an increase in the share price....... a massive 0.07p, champagne caviar and chips for tea tonight

So having looked at darientaylor’s figures and confirmed they are correct, we appear to have a music download company which has lost market share during lockdowns, the others seem to be increasing their market share, as an example Spotify up 16%. Napster already has an app and charges £10 per month with 30 days free. Spotify charges £9.99 a month three months free and a seriously larger library of music. What difference will a new app make unless the overall experience is a massive improvement on the Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify experience and size of library. Universe appears to have overtaken us with live streamed events, just looking at their listing via ticketmaster. Not really sure where there is a space for us to become the standout company.

Albert we were talking about the potential income from streaming services, across the board the streaming apps have increased income during the various lockdowns. I would be very disappointed if Napster hasn’t had a similar increase in income and market share. These are the figures which IMO will determine our future. That said Spotify have been uploading 62,000 new tracks per day. So I would also hope to see a similar increase in content from Napster, otherwise I fear we will be left behind.

Spotify figures show a 16% increase in income for 2020, so clearly if the product pleases the market Covid or no Covid the income should be there

Sorry about posting the same thing twice because the first one was deleted and then came back it’s called being polite. I’ve given you a list of events from a personal email. Have no intentional of posting a link to my email account. Anyone on ticketmaster registered for weekly updates had the same email. I have no reason to lie, and I can’t imagine Ticketmaster making it up.

So to try again....... Listed as both a partner and owned by Ticketmaster, so given a choice of two I just used partner.
Notification was via my regular weekly update from Ticketmaster via email.
Forthcoming events include Billy Bragg, Heather Small, Rita Ora, Sara Baras, Therapy, Propaganda amongst other, a list of previous events to download is also available.
To make a point I have previously made I receive regular streaming events updates from Ticketmaster, WhatsOnStage, ATG, Ents24 amongst others, never had an email from Melody as was. We seem to rely on SM posts to advertise events, which means we are only making contact with diehard fans. IMO it’s not coincidence we actually had an increase in the SP when we used traditional advertising to promote an event. A mailing list and regular email update of events would help and cost almost nothing.
It’s incredibly sad that other companies are stealing a march on us when we describe ourselves a the leading etc

Nope, ticketmaster list them as a partner company, also owned by ticketmaster. So I used partner company as a choice of either. Events notification was via my personal weekly ticketmaster account forthcoming events email. Upcoming live streamed events include Rita Ora, Billy Bragg, Duo Lipa, Heather Small, Max Cooper, Propaganda, Sara Baras, and Therapy. Also lists
library of previous events to download. Rita Ora alone seems a massive event, with tickets to live events either sold out or very limited tickets still available.
So just to add a point I have previously made. Never had an email from Melody of forthcoming events, had to search the APP, whereas with Ticketmaster, and WhatsOnStage, Ents 24, ATG and others I get weekly email updates of upcoming streamed events. They should have a mailing list and regular upcoming events email. As we are supposed to be the lead company in this field it’s sad to see other companies potentially building up a customer base.
It’s also a very sad but telling fact that posts have become increasingly negative with people who were supporters of this company changing the tone of their posts, and those remaining supporters becoming increasingly aggressive in their responses . We are not being negative because Evr/Melody/Nap is doing so well. The share price has crashed over an extended period of time, deadlines have been missed, we have relied on SM to promote events, thus only informing those diehard fans who follow acts on SM. It’s not coincidence that we had a SP raise the only time we have used traditional advertising to promote an event.
