shatner - as you have suggested I am ill-informed and you are more knowledgeable I would appreciate it if you could clear up some grey areas for me.

1) You raised the issue of debt. From my memory the debt was £11-12M (I don't have my notes to hand so am working from memory). The issue of 86M shares would not have cleared that debt so can you confirm what arrangement was made for the difference?

2) Can you confirm the reason for that large level of debt as products have been rolled-out and are selling on shelves and have been for some time? I would have expected the UK market to be profitable at this stage of the business plan.

3) The chairman explained to me that the company was not currently profitable primarily due to marketing costs. The deal with UFC would not have been cheap and with planned roll-outs to Japan and Thailand (and now talk of America) there is a lot of expenditure planned with little change to income in the short-term. Do you have any indication of how much money will be required to fund all of these and where that funding will come from?

shatner - I have also done due diligence on the company and had a 90 minute discussion with him when he confirmed that the company are currently not profitable. Now would you prefer I believe him or believe you? I'm not disputing that profit margins on the products are good but that is just one element of a successful company. I have never stated that a cash raise would be negative - if it's needed to achieve the growth required and adds move value to the business than the raise itself then it will be received favourably by the market. The debt has been recently cleared yes(following the issue of 86M shares) - that is the kind of placing that I don't see as a positive as it isn't adding the value that for example a raise to fund a roll-out would. Hopefully that drawers a line under the debt and the company won't be back in that situation again. As you've made a statement that you know far more than me (when you know very little about me) can you confirm what the cost is to the company for the UFC deal?

Littlepost - I think it's a no win situation. If I spell it out I'll be called a condescending ****!! I assume that most investors have at least a basic understanding and would realise there's nothing to fear from a placing if it's managed well

cking - the reason that I had the long discussion with the Chairman was because i was looking to invest. I may well invest yet but that depends on a number of things happening as we discussed. These boards are surely for those invested and looking to invest. Andrew never mentioned the UFC links so draw what you want from that. We talked more about the company fundamentals. The reason I consider that the company may be looking to sell is because they are not profitable at the moment and the costs associated with the various roll-outs will not be insignificant. Maybe there is a big placing coming instead (which may not be a bad thing) but selling the company must be a consideration if an offer were to come in. Maybe any offer includes a share-swap which would keep shareholders and the board interested. Absolutely good luck to all - I hope it does well and if things progress as hoped over the next few months I will be happy to invest.

cking - yes we are all entitled to our thoughts and I see you have shared yours also. That surely is the purpose of these boards. The UFC deal may well be transformational and I hope it is. It would be interesting to have been given a bit more information about the deal but yes I'm sure it's good for everyone. It's interesting that you refer to a US roll-out - in my recent discussions it was Japan and Thailand that were talked about as the next roll-outs - has that changed? If the roll-outs are a success then I have no doubt that a £250m mcap is more than achievable. There will more competition but that's never a bad thing. With regard to me panicking there's certainly no chance of that - whilst ZOE are competing on oil and edibles in the UK the value of the business is primarily in smoking cessation which is a very different market.

kebab - you stated earlier on that the company was fully funded through 2022 - can you substantiate that or is it similar to your projection of £3 per share and plucked out of the air?

Gman - no I am not invested yet - I had a 90 minute discussion with the Chairman recently and decided that although it may be a great investment at this level I would rather wait for certain issues to be resolved before buying in. I understand that the SP may move substantially in the meantime but that is my thinking and I prefer to reduce some of the risk (and that obviously means reducing potential gains).

Littlepost - I fully agree that a raise can be very positive and there are many examples of that. It also doesn't necessarily lead to a SP drop and can actually lead to a SP rise if it is done for the right reasons. Some people choose to read what I write in a negative way but nowhere have I said a raise would be a negative (maybe it's more an indication of the reader's mindset rather than what I write).

kebab - when I posted my comment the SP was showing as blue so once again you are incorrect in your statement. As I've said to you before if you read the Q+A session you will see what the company answered when questioned about a raise. If you can share where they have stated categorically that they are fully funded through 2022 I would love to see it (of course you won't do that as you have a track record of making up things and stating them as fact with no backup). Last time I gave you the link to the Q+A session you just laughed at the fact that it was a Reddit post and didn't even bother reading it. That was the company's choice of forum not mine. I won't stoop to turning it personal like you always do but as many have made clear the board is a much more amicable and informative place without your bitter comments.

Barney - not sure what ARM has to do with it as I'm not invested there and have never posted on their board. On Sunday you claimed CBX would be 22p by today and have also claimed to have bought in at a SP higher than where it is now which maybe explains your anger. It sounds like you are desperately ramping the SP so that you can get out and anyone that posts a contrary view backed up by some facts and research gets shouted down. If you genuinely believe there won't be a placing before any products hit the shelves then you need to do some research on costs associated with r+d, production, marketing and distribution. If you really believe that the money raised from the IPO will fund all of that then I worry for your investing strategies. I have never said the company won't do well and I sincerely hope it does - for many investors this is their first foray into investing and I hope they make money. For others it is one of the many unicorns they are chasing and flit from hot share to hot share rather than invest for the long-term. The company WILL need more funds to grow and to think they won't is naive - sorry if that upsets you but if you understand the reasons why then you will have a better understanding of how the company will grow without the ridiculous claims of 22p by today or 50p by April. This is a long term-hold and expect dilution later this year (please read the company Q+A to see what they have to say on the matter)

Having listened to Tony's interview a couple of times I started giving some thoughts to this UFC agreement. It's a very much left-field development and does not appear at first glance to have much synergy with the company as it currently trades. There has been much talk of growing the business internationally and a need to invest a lot more into marketing to enable that growth. At face value this would appear to fit that brief. However I feel that this may be window dressing with the intention of selling the company. Before you shout me down please bear with me. As it is the company is not profit-making and this announcement will not increase the income in the short-term and will require a lot of capital. Any global roll-out to Japan and Thailand will require substantial short-term investment with no expectation of any return for some time. The company do not currently have the funds in place to do this. This makes me think that a cash raise (the most logical route) may not be a good solution as the size and dilution would make it an unattractive proposition to investors. When I look at the BOD I don't see the CBD background or industry experience that other companies have but do see a team that have successfully developed businesses. My conclusion is that I see this announcement as an indication that the intention may be to sell the company. That may not be a bad thing as a) the CBD sector is very buoyant and there would be many suitors interested in getting in and b) it would almost certainly lead to a rise in SP that may not be easily achieved through organic growth. Interesting times ahead!

davad - on the first point you raise I wouldn't hold your breath for an RNS regarding distributor deals fro a while yet as the company will need to have products finalised before any distributors will sign up. It will come but not overnight. Of course no-one knows whether there will be a placing or not but at the stage the company does not have the funds to produce, distribute and market the product ranges they are talking about and won't have any income for 12+ months. From my experience I would say it's a given that there will be at least one more placing before that point. If you read the company Q+A session the question was asked and the answer definitely suggests a placing to me. I have said positive things about CBX if you care to check previous posts but I usually respond to some of the outrageous ramping that has gone on here and try to stick to facts. The board has been pretty good recently as a lot of those ramping have clearly managed to sell out and move on. If you feel that adding realistic comments to a thread is being negative then so be it. I have given you my thoughts which are based on many years of investing and a lot of experience in the CBD sector. I invested in the IPO as it was a no-brainer and free money as predicted but will look to re-invest at some point if/when figures are provided of potential sales and profit margins etc.

What are you expecting to see included in the next RNS?

Not as things stand - there will be another placing at some point and it really depends on dilution. £1 with 500M shares in issue would be feasible in a few years but £1 with 1BN+ shares in issue is unlikely

Shatner - have you seen news that says there will be individuals being brand ambassadors for LH products? I think you are putting 2+2 together and getting 35. As I read the news LH have paid a lot of money to sponsor UFC - there's no mention that products being sold will in any way be endorsed by UFC or any of it's fighters. Who are LH's marketing team? I'd like to know what their background is and what their experience in the CBD industry is. Please share. I think there is a lot of mileage in linking CBD with sports recovery but I'd like to see some figures that show the demographics of potential customers. CBX are going down the route of a sports product although they have no product to market yet. LH have not previously been linked with the sports sector and in all honesty it comes across as trying to change horses mid-race. Are they suggesting that they got it wrong with their previous marketing and target customers as if so then I would question whether the marketing guys actually are dummies. Innovation is the route to go down not following what others are already doing (research TIDL)

Kitty - it has nothing to do with the market making it's mind up about the CBD sector. The SP and market valuation is based on company fundamentals. At the moment CBX has no products to generate revenue so the market has valued the company based on where it is now and what it sees as potential going forward. To date we have seen no projections of sales nor of profit margins. The mcap as it stands today is very fair and until the company provide more information and issues RNS's to confirm distribution deals etc I would not expect to see any massive jumps in SP. The reason start-up companies can be bought cheap is because you are buying risk. In a year provided the company has launched products then the SP will not be at this level but there's a lot to be achieved between now and then.
