The issue raised was valid - the products are currently on sale in a number of stores and if you care to look on the website you'll see exactly what stores. With the exception of one I would not associate any of the outlets listed as somewhere that UFC fans would be shopping in. Do you have confirmation that LH actually have the products endorsed by UFC? Sponsoring them is one thing but being able to put "endorsed by UFC" on any product is slightly different. As a few people have said it would be nice to see the details of the agreement before anyone can make bold statements like you have

I'm not sure LH is a much better bet as it is making a loss, trades on a terrible platform with poor liquidity and just signed a costly deal with UFC which is inevitable a precursor for the inevitable placing. It may do well but needs to sort a lot of issues out and start making some money before it attracts investors

The UFC announcement sounds great but do we have any further details about the deal? As I read it Love Hemp will be paying millions to sponsor UFC. Having watched the hype surrounding the CBX flotation I could understand it if they went down that route as they have specifically targeted sports recovery products. There is also TIDL in the US who are promoted by Conor McGregor. I understand the importance of marketing and whilst this sounds great at face value I would like to see more details of what it entails and what the perceived benefits will be. It may actually have a negative impact if it is promoting oils and capsules only as there are plenty of other products on the shelves. Does it mean that LH are bringing new products to market specifically to be branded for UFC?

Kebab - you'll have noticed this board has been a good board when you don't post! I can only answer for myself but if someone asks for opinions then I'll offer my opinion which is based on 25+ years of investing experience. You seem to offer opinions even when you aren't asked for one and when you do it usually involves a ridiculous ramp. Feel free to answer the question that was asked rather than question why someone else has a different opinion to your own

You have to understand that there are many different types of investor. Who is selling? My guess is there will be a mix of those that got in at 5p and were hoping to see the SP climb based on the crazy ramps of 50p soon etc and those that bought shares on the open market in the first few days. They may well have bought in for a quick flip but been caught on a spike and having watched the SP settle around this level decided that it's better to take a loss now if they have the next rainbow to chase elsewhere (this kind of investor rarely succeeds). There is no point getting frustrated because investors have a different approach to yourself - if you are saying that you've invested for a year or so then switch the board off and stop watching the daily price movements. The SP is not really going to move much unless there is substantial news from the company (unlikely for at least a couple of months).

I think that's one of the more conservative estimates I've seen - if it isn't greater than £14.43 then I think most investors would think the business has massively under-performed!

Here’s hoping - maybe take the lead and practice what you preach. Firstly I’m not aware you own this board and have the right to tell anyone to leave. If no-one was interested no-one would reply. You shot yourself in the foot there! You are right I’m not invested but I may well re-invest if and when concerns I’ve raised previously are addressed. If you are a trained psychiatrist I would be surprised as your analysis is quite wide of the mark. Sorry if I distract from all the blatant ramping and mutual back-slapping but I won’t be leaving because you’ve spat your dummy out and have thrown a tantrum. Go shopping and try some CBD as you’ll find it will relax you a lot.

If you want to give me your contact details I’ll happily share a screenshot to back that up. The fact that you constantly turn things personal and get vindictive suggests that you bought on the spike and need to get the SP up in order to pay this month’s rent. I wouldn’t be waiting for DB to come and bail you out because you’ve put 2 and 2 together and come up with 7. LI - like many Telegram groups it was good to start with but as the numbers grew it got out of control. I got kicked because I had the audacity to complain that it seemed to have turned into a teenagers car group as people posted hundreds of images of neater up XR3's. ...and yes if anyone questioned anything they disappeared! I think it was the worst Telegram share group I've been involved with

Yes - I have listened to it. He says a lot without actually saying anything. He made it clear (as I've already stated countless times) that at the moment DB is not involved other than his investment arm. He says the name has clearly benefitted the company which I don't take as a positive. Once the penny drops and people stop saying he's involved the sooner the company can grow on it's own merits.

Why would I take what a third party video says over what the company have said? This is a big problem - people read something on Twitter or a random website and take it as gospel. Listen to the company and when they make it as clear as they did about Beckham's involvement believe them. When TW posts something that says the company is a scam and is going bust (and he will do that at some point I can assure you) I certainly won't believe him as he gets it wrong time after time.

Now DB Investments hardly have the cachet that Warren Buffet might!

I think you are better off assuming no DB involvement and if in the future he decides that he wants to get involved in another way then great. Better to keep expectations sensible as talk like this will only lead to disappointment

Lloydy - I believe this is really a trading share as it stands. The majority of people on this BB (a very small percentage of overall holders) have very small investments and are probably happy to hold as a consequence. Anyone that bought in during the first few days is probably underwater hence the number of people endlessly ramping. They will probably disappear when the SP gets to a point where they can bail out. Talk of city traders and II's buying in or selling are rubbish. Until the company have real products, projected sales numbers and ranges of products are in the public domain, distribution details announced and any possible cash raises are confirmed either way then the company will not be attracting the larger investors that bring an element of stability. Expect the SP to trade a specific range for a few months yet with some good gains to be made by those happy to trade the rises and dips.

I don't think the SP rise has anything to do with expected news - there is unlikely to be anything announced for a month or two yet as the timelines suggest. It is a natural pattern after the massive early spike and re-trace and the SP will find it's natural trading level over the next few trading sessions.

William - if they sold (and there is no way individuals got the shares) then those companies will be blacklisted on future flotations and placings - you don't get access to those deals by being a broker that breaks the terms of the deal

William I would NOT believe everything you read on Twitter - those that got shares at 1p were not a bunch of city people selling on the open market. The 1p shares were very selectively allocated and cannot/will not be sold. Those selling in the past couple of weeks were those who got shares at 5p. If the SP continues as it has done I'm sure some of them may be buying back in now and having a free ride (although PI's who got in at IPO are unlikely to have large numbers of shares)

expru - not really relevant to CBX as they have will not be in the tobacco market. This is a reaction to ZOE who are already eating into BAT's market. Most of the major tobacco companies will need to react by taking a position in the CBD sector (or buying someone out). This is where the really big numbers are

...and with regard to IP I have not seen any mention of CBX having any IP protection and I'm not sure what they could protect. The only protection I know of is that ZOE have 3 patent applications submitted that cover the cannabinoid extraction process for the natural product. No patents have been granted as yet though.

ShortBurner - CBX don't own the raw product facilities but will buy it in from a number of different sources (4 I believe was the figure mentioned) and those sources will also be supplying other CBD companies. It is the same in the natural CBD sector and it makes sense to keep the raw product supply separate from the manufacture of the end product.
