For example we own more of practically all of our investments, and contract rates for LCE have moved on from $7,500 to around the $10,000 mark (or so) - and they used an incorrect table in our Rare Earth JV Yangibana venture leading to an undervaluation. Indeed @mac69. It could lead to an off-grid paradigm shift away from using wires and pipes to shift energy around to (self-driving) batteries on wheels. Transmission and distribution costs are quite a large fraction of the cost of energy! (around half for electricity from memory.). I was wondering where self generation from gas, e.g. fuel cells and Stirling engines might fit alongside self-generation from solar panels in this new world. Especially in countries with a sunken cost of existing gas network. e.g. for some parts of the year, a house might be exporting more energy than it consumes, and vice-versa for other parts of the year. And then there is Tony's God Parity - perhaps central generation will win the day if self-driving batteries on wheels are the transmission vector? It's complicated that's for sure! ;-)

Your electric car is pretty much a battery with wheels. If you live in a location where there is local energy generation, it makes a lot of sense to go off-grid – thus avoiding connection costs. This would ordinarily mean you get no electricity, at times when you’re unable to generate on-site. However, owning an electric car changes everything. You can go and pick up electricity from your local solar farm, then run your house from your car – potentially transferring energy to a domestic battery, for when someone needs to take the car out. I’m unsure if that’s going to be economically viable, but it might get utilities worried. It’s certainly an interesting thought. === Interesting he picked up on this. I make it 7,000kt LCE Cinovec resource from: http://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/market-news/market-news-detail/REM/13132323.html and 4,463kt (indicated) + 2,740kt (inferred) Sonora resource from: http://www.rareearthmineralsplc.com/operations/fleur-el-sauz/ http://www.bacanoraminerals.com/projects/sonora-lithium/ For a grand total of: 7,000 + 4,463 + 2,740 = 14.2Mt LCE I believe that mineral reserves are included in the above. i.e Since Cinovec doesn't have any resources classed as reserves yet (in PFS probably) - we can say of those 14.2Mt of LCE - 2,083kt are classed as reserves, of which 557kt are attributable to REM. Of course, we have Lithium from other sources around the world too, and next door to Cinovec! As demand for Lithium picks up, more of those resources will be classed as reserves, and we'll likely continue to drill - don't forget about our 30% Megalit play! I'm almost certain at some point we'll be looking back saying - wasn't it obvious we were onto a winner. Do you remember when we were called Rare Earth Minerals - despite the massive under the radar Lithium resources under our belt! ;-) You couldn't make it up. Ob.

@Knowbodyyouknow. If the news I've been waiting does come we really won't need any of the herd to arrive. This will be over a penny in a flash because no-one in their right mind will sell!

Absolutely @topcat. Many of us, me included thought we'd be done and dusted by the end of 2016. The thing is the increasing contract value of LCE from $5-6 per kg to above $10, likely put a spanner in the works. We had at least one deal on the table (Tesla), but couldn't get (external) funding for it due to other projects looking more attractive to fund than our sub $6 - and the NDAs! But ask yourself, would you rather be selling at >$10 or <$6 long term? I would probably have been personally happy with half or what we have @<$6 to Tesla and the other half @>$10 to others plus @>$15 spot, because I want Tesla to succeed. But that probably isn't the best overall strategy for REM. Obviously, whether Tesla is still in the picture related to the corporate ownership level is open to debate! They have to get their Lithium from somewhere, and according to *their* road maps they don't half need a lot of it! A coiled spring never boils? Watched paint never dries? Which one is it again!? Patience required, but for how much longer? ;-)

@topcat. Surely you've been here long enough to realise that all it really takes to move this SP is a sustained change of sentiment even without news. But with news...! I've said it before - but I would not be surprised if we were in the process of selling off an asset for double or perhaps even triple digit millions. £100m will go a very long way to fund our remaining assets. Now, what do we think the in ground value of 557kt of LCE *reserves* is today? £100/t? £200/t? The right news could blow this share through the penny - presumably you know this: I've been saying it for a while, but I believe we almost certainly will sell an asset imminently - just how imminent is anybodies guess really! ;-) You hold/buy you might win, and win big - you sell... well. Up to you really - my opinion isn't "Strong Buy" for nothing! ;-)

Getting there @Marty! Yet I've a nagging feeling that we've (or I have) "cried wolf" so many times over the past year that the market goes: yeah right. But it's going to get bitten one of these days with that kind of attitude - pretty sure that was the moral of the story... ;-) I don't mean to cry wolf of course, but there certainly *seems" to be rumblings this week/month - just hope it isn't the wolf making off with the ducks!

@beatrootjuice we are invested in *much* more than just rare earth minerals nowadays. If that isn't obvious to those posting here, then damn, we really needed a name change! ;-)

Hey @steveho - @RobinHood69 is one of the best share promoters I've seen in action: we could do with some of his golden touch on this board don't you think? - I know my share promotion skills pail in comparison - too dry! I've no problem with him ramping any one of our assets on the REM board. I know the above is going to be controversial - so perhaps I should expand on it a little before I hit send... The point I am trying to make is that in general there is a certain amount of "money" which is spread across the share market. Both traders and investors alike make decisions on where to invest depending on certain, potentially overlapping, criteria. I think we can pretty much all agree that *currently* REM is vastly undervalued given the potential future worth of our assets - assuming the future plays out as many of us are anticipating (Lithium powered!). Timescales are uncertain - from literally hours, to years. So what we need is as many other share holders across the market to be sold the same story, to believe the same: that we are potentially key to this unfolding lithium story - this is where the share promoters come in: those that are good at "selling" a company to those who are yet to invest. Of course to some, these can be seen as "rampers", and true, sometimes, they get a little carried away, forgetting the obligatory - IMHO, etc, but that's their style: constant enthusiasm - and we need that. IMHO. ;-) Ob.

Hey @wiltshireman - we asked for a change of name - we got a change of name. And one that is mineral agnostic makes eminent sense! - if you give it a moments thought. And besides: renaming to "Global Lithium, Rare Earths, Tin, Tungsten, Gold, Borate, Potassium, Iron and other minerals I may have forgotten about, plc" doesn't quite have the same ring about it as "Cadence Minerals plc" ;-)

I'm sure there will have been a few pi's that have been waiting on the sidelines to get back in @gfb not wishing to miss the next stage of this companies journey! Is that quacking I hear drawing nearer? ;-)

Agree @Evlu - excitement seems a bit quelled though... Perhaps many are now hoping we don't take off until the next FY! (ISA's...) We never really got to the bottom of certain aspects of the ADR's... I'd certainly be mused if it turned out a large portion of REM shares had indeed been sucked out of AIM on the cheap, under the radar, but all above board! Fancy letting these little gems go for peanuts... ;-)
