That to me would be ideal Twisty. I believe in the future of Amigo. I have voted for the proposals that JB and the Richmond group have proposed and sincerely hope to see JB back and financially invested as I believe he is the visionary that created the concept and can see a future for the company he created so is the right person to oversee its future success. I am holding for long term gains.

Hi Twisty thank you for that. I have looked at the RNS and it does include appointing JB as a director but not CEO. I presume it is the board that vote/agree on who will be CEO?

Perhaps the reason the share price is drifting down is those investors who were looking for a quick profit have become disillusioned. Looking on the company’s website FAQ about the forthcoming meeting there is no resolution for James Benamor to be made CEO so investors may be concerned that his legally binding offer to purchase shares when he becomes CEO isn’t as imminent as they first thought?

Incidentally I believe that the reason that Richmond Group haven’t put that forward is because they still want GC in place and don’t want to risk forcing his departure.

We need to support actions that will guarantee a solid floor way above the current levels.”

I’m in this for the long term - I hope JB gets back in as I believe he will push Amigo internationally but believe that even if he doesn’t GC will turn things around in the UK and Amigo will recover well with or without JB.

Hi Cashers - similar position with me, I purchased first in December last year at 68p a share and averaged down to just over 9p a share. Ended up all in then had a couple of wobbles So cashed some in at 14p from my SIPP but still just under 500,000 shares left to ride in my ISA.
Firmly voting for JB as the man to fix the issues he identified.

Certainly a frisson of excitement now we are close to his daily selling finishing..

The surprise could be to see BoD buy now in earnest or more positive RNS from them, say discussions being resumed with the previous potential buyer? (Just to try and scupper JB’s plans and votes?)
- or indeed JB to announce he has started to buy back significantly!

What’s to stop him buying on the same day he gets to zero ?

Wouldn’t surprise me if BoD announce that if their resolutions pass at the EGM then they intend to buy shares (just to try to steal JB’s thunder).

I’m with AJ Bell and have sent a secure message to ask them to register my proxy votes as with previous companies a choice has been available under corporate actions to choose for or against resolutions but for this called for Amigo EGM that option hadn’t appeared.
