Well IMHO this share is a definite gamble. However I’ve decided the potential rewards are worth a punt (the potential upside is it being a multi bagger with future dividends worth current share price - see historic data) so I’ve made a modest purchase of 30,000 shares this morning.
Thanks for all the information LTH have posted - particularly Vorag yesterday who posted a details of why we can have faith in the current BoD. Also looking at the information in the RNS presented this morning I’ve decided the current BoD has the potential to get to the bottom of the high rates of upheld complaints and return the company to sustainable profitable lending. It’s a risk so as always DYO research. GLA

As someone who’s original buy in was at 68p last December I have gone from all in (with both my SIPP and ISA) to all out. Fortunately enough to have averaged down and got out with a profit just after the vote (as I had a stop loss order in place).
I will be looking with interest and hoping the results tomorrow are good for the sake of all long term holders and because I believe in the original ethos of the company. I also think the current board have a good chance of turning things around. I was looking at getting back in today before the results but am holding off as this is too much of a gamble for me as I have checked the upheld rate of complaints (now 88%) see https://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/data-insight/quarterly-complaints-data
I post this only to add information to the discussion as everyone makes their own investment decisions based on information available. I have enjoyed this chat forum and valued regular posters opinions such as Twisty FTH Mark 1973 GCN etc and I genuinely wish them and everyone else who has invested here long term success. Although results tomorrow might include a return to relending but with such a high upheld rate in my opinion this would probably negate any profitably from restarting that. GLA.

ROI is a good enough reason to buy and hold at these prices mrzeroh. WHEN it gets back towards the £2 a share price (or just when you’ve doubled your money) then there’s always the option to top slice and take a free ride. Although a good dividend paying share is always a good one to hold onto.
I’m not saying we’re out of the tunnel but there’s definitely light ahead! GLA

Pleased I added this morning at a lower price than the close today. Be even more pleased WHEN we return to dividend payments and even higher share prices - which is all just a case of ‘when not if’ with all the great movies and pent up demand that are waiting to be released just as soon as vaccinations and governments allow. IMHO the wobble this morning was based on contingency planning that may never be required. GLALTH

I think this is going to go a lot higher so it might be a little too early to slice (but no criticism for anybody that does as it’s never wrong to take a profit). Perhaps the news today that the coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech appears to protect 94% of adults over 65 years old is helping move the share price up?

Not the best update. Revenue still declining (just not as much as first half of year) hmm

On today program this morning there’s talk of not enough of the vaccine to go around and the government using a slightly less effective one for the majority of the population. If that happens then more people might think twice about going out for meals and sales of premier foods should continue their stellar performance.

Not looking too good. I expect we will certainly see 5’s today and no uplift for a while. :-/ GLA

A delay to restarting lending as well. If they had got to the bottom of why so many complaints are being upheld and paid out then resending would only help to compensate claimants. Not a good Rns in my opinion.

I think we’re still waiting on the runway but will be soaring up as soon as there is the hint of vaccine or mass testing gets sorted. I see that the government is rolling out a pilot mass testing program in Liverpool. So that could bode well for us?
