Iknownuffin I hope your right but the old BoD didn’t identify a problem and the FCA website on guaranteed loans just had increasing upheld rates after JB first brought this matter up. Don’t get me wrong I have a lot more faith in the present BoD but I’d like them to be clear on why future lending is sustainable. Get that detail sorted and there’s no reason why the FCA shouldn’t agree to their proposal.

I know I keep banging on about it but the key detail that is missing from this RNS is what makes any future lending affordable (and thus not likely to also attract high upheld complaints rates). What would be different about future lending? If the BOD have identified this then Amigo has a future and if not I can see why the regulator wouldn’t agree to ringfencing claims. Means at the moment it’s still very much a gamble here. Very high upside against a real risk of insolvency

This has got to be one of the most exciting shares to be in and one of the least exciting chat boards.
The potential here is huge and the next RNS could drop at any time. We’ve had clear indication from the other RNS’s of the direction of research and N4P’s potential which together with the governments scientific advice on future developments to COVID both point to the need for that potential. In addition N4P are not just a one trick pony they have other irons in the fire with potential to help treat other diseases including cancer! Might seem like I’m ramping but I’m just very positive on this share but DYOR & GLA

Hi Mouse and fellow amigos if we’re going off topic (and I know Expru and others from here are or were invested) then N4P seems to be making a move upwards today. The spread is wide and a big buy yesterday might just be fueling it but if the speculation about its potential is about to be realised then it can still rocket a lot further. GLA

Both medical experts on this evening’s PM briefing said points that would interest holders here.
The virus will be under pressure to mutate as more people are vaccinated and also that we could see increased measures required again next winter as new variants of COVID mean revaccinations are required. The BBC recap just after mentioned the easiest adaption to vaccinations would be via the RNA Moderna Pfizer vaccinations (that need cold storage) If these companies want to address future vaccination needs then our N4P potential to address their cold storage issues (and perhaps provide vaccinations in pill form)could help them stay in front of their competition.

I disagree with you Armani84 I’ve always found Mark to be quite honest about his dealings here (and elsewhere). I also agree with the statement no ones out out as I’m back in with a small holding. The key issue I’ve always had is the upheld rate of complaints. This Scheme of Arrangement is about limiting existing historic complaints and is only likely to be approved if future lending will see less complaints that can be upheld going forward. I’d love to see an RNS about restarting lending on a much more prudent basis (perhaps only to consolidate higher interest loans to a lower rate and no additional loans until the original one is paid off). The current BoD inspire much more confidence that they could start lending in such a prudent manner. Otherwise the regulator will indeed be setting an unusual precedent that doesn’t see to amigo addressing the reasons for their high upheld complaints.
I’m in because the upside could be considerable but the risk is definitely very high and a definite gamble. GLA

Roxburyhouse I’m in N4P as well (have you also got BPC?) those have potential to rocket on news soon and certainly before Saga but SAGA should eventually recover and will always be a long term hold for me. GL and happy new year!
