It takes as long as it takes. Good to see this improved form of Dox is progressing.

Looking at the pipeline there are also potentially much better therapies but these are some time off being approved (AVA6103 is in IND-enabling studies and the US IND is planned for Q4 2025/Q1 2026 and first-in-human Phase 1 development to initiate in Q1 2026). If AVA6000 gets does go on to obtain any earlier approval then that could also accelerate these other candidates?

CC is “just getting on with it” recognised the key asset is the platform and is focussed on sorting out long term funding. In the meantime Simon. Has been very busy which I would think involves talking to lots of big pharma. Although he may be seeking partnership and licensing deals it is not unthinkable that a TO bid could come in

AA is to approve drugs such as AVA6000 that show signs of improvement over conventional treatments - hasn’t AVA6000 already done this?

As a lay person - however excited I am about the pipeline (and I do think it will be awesome - but not for several more years and a lot more cash than Avacta has currently) they do need to bring AVA6000 ‘home’ in the respect of getting it approved and monetised.

With the results they’ve announced so far it’s proven to be a lot safer and better tolerated - so no risk if it were to be much wider used. There are also ‘promising signs of early efficacy’ so why not get it approved? It will then bring in some profit (increasing outside interest) and they can use this to develop the pipeline

RorkesDrift in CC’s recent interview she mentions that in mouse models there was a ten fold increase in dox that was released into tumours compared to in plasma using AVA6000 but that in the human biopsies this had increased to 100 times!
