Listening to the radio this morning a news story all about the ‘holy grail of cancer treatment and prevention’, a vaccine that targets a specific cancer protein in cancer - Which is years away from being used in patients!! seems like Avacta need better publicist’s 😠

Also difficult for the BBC (if Avacta do release the updated trial results soon as we expect) to say ‘actually no this is the holy grail!’ All a bit Monty python! GLA

I’d also say look at the next RNS - which looks to be due soon (based on the previous cohort updates) and 🤞 should be a corker!

The average volume traded is about the same as the open short GSA have and at present daily trading is much less - this indicates a short squeeze as soon as any good news arrives!

The SP seems to be holding well above the levels it was at when GSA opened their short. They must surely be thinking about when they will close or at least reduce it? 🤔

Still if they don’t and anyone of the potential rockets arrives (AA deal partnership progression free survival remission etc) and them trying to get out at that point would be like adding steroids to the rush to buy in! GLA

Lack of volume usually means they have to raise the price to tempt people to sell 🤔

GSA must be reconsidering keeping their short open? Any news on a deal, accelerated approval, partnership or funding could add significantly to their costs to close it. 🤔

Hi Crowfoot Thanks for the concern. Yep I hold my hands up. I got caught out. Bit annoying having previously held here so long 😡 I’ve always thought that this should come good - eventually. It’s just I might not be around when it does.

Still when the facts change then I change. I’ve bought what I sold for back in at 76p as paying in cash signals cash shouldn’t be a concern for them going forward Again GLA

Actually I sold the rest yesterday / I kinda think this will come good but my holding here and waiting hasn’t done me any favours so I’ll try to ride what I expect will be a dip when the CLN repayment is due / but GLA to everyone whatever you decide.

The chat board seems quiet - none of the usual ramping or FUD. Guess we’re all waiting to see if this is a significant retrace ? or the past few days buying holding off before it resumes?

I’m not a trader but I’ve reduced half my holding to see which way it goes and already I could buy back more now 🤔
