That slight reduction by GSA must have cost them (comparing buy priced from when they increased their short to the 10th July when it was ‘first’ reduced) - wonder how much?

I’ve only done a basic search on how shorts work but from this it seems short holders may have to pay a margin % to the broker keep their short open? 🤔 (as well as these ongoing costs - there is also what some sites say is ?? a 150% ?? premium of the SP to eventually close it!). Be interested in any knowledgable responses to clarify this? 🤔

Already approaching half the usual daily trade volume today - someone is greedy for AVACTA shares!

Not sure why anyone would sell while we are seeing consistent rises. Why not simply set a stop loss and ride it further up? Then you could always revisit what you have your stop loss set at?

Although there may be several reasons for (including a short closing)

a predictor of an incoming TO bid that is noted retrospectively is that the volume of the target company’s share had increased 🤔

My main concern is about the two weekly update - why the delay ? I know it was Al that said it should be reviewed by the end of April but seriously no news from the company about this? 🤨

Hopefully it’s because Simon is crossing the T’s and dotting the i’s and they are happy with a deal he is putting together (and an interested party has made it a condition not to release any new news) but on past form I doubt it 😠
