No trades today? Is this the bottom? Anyone got sight of bid / offer - level 2?

Hi Share-ke I would think it is a possibility at the rate the BoD are going. Not enough sales to be profitable and too heavy with salaries. However against that is the small market cap and the possibility of a TO from big Pharma. Much more likely than either of those two scenarios is a cash raise and drift further downwards in the absence of much more positive actions from the BoD rather than relying on peer to peer sales - which haven’t proved to be effective as yet (a change of direction which has not yet demonstrated and the recent meeting didn’t inspire confidence).

FWIW my advice is don’t keep any money in here unless you are willing to lose it. For clarity as I posted when I invested here I’ve just crystallised a small loss here as another share I own indicates it is a better bet for these funds. GLA

What the company has to do is look at the costs of those unnecessary procedures currently being carried out due to the current inaccurate screening measures and demonstrate PSE testing is overall cost effective for the NHS

They discuss Avacta at 33 mins but go on straight after that to discuss OBD which gives an insight into why a fund manager sold their position in OBD and might indicate that they could be waiting to buy back in here? Especially when it seems the SP has bottomed out ? Which could provide an added lift? GLA

I bought back in and am holding for the same reason Kingalf. I’d have been happier if the SP had kept going back up when I identified it bouncing up earlier (but might have been that famous ‘dead cat’? 🐈‍⬛ 🤨). GL

Dugwalker we must also be ripe for a hostile takeover surely? PI’s would snatch the hand off any reasonable offer or attempt to oust the board 🤨

Pensioninvestor it’s always better to spread your risk and plenty of other shares with at least as good prospects (Avacta Alpha to name two) but this isn’t investment advice DYOR. Accept shares are a gamble whatever you decide - but wider investment spreads the risk. Good luck to you.

Following that link it seems that company said clinical data show ClarityDX could reduce unnecessary prostate biopsies by up to 35 per cent (done following a positive PSA test). If it’s true that OBD PSE test screens out 19/20 and is 94% accurate it would seem the PSE test is much better in avoiding unnecessary further treatments? but there is a big price difference which might well be a significant factor influencing regulators in these budget conscious times?

The company should be highlighting the PSE test up to all decision makers & those regulators and engaging more widely.

I’ve bought back in a few at 16.5p - got to be worth the punt here 🤔 GLA

I think Krull is probably right when he said the PSE test has been pitched at too higher price. That and a lack of proper validation are probably what is holding up sales. 🤔

10% of shares traded today and down another 15%. Just today. This has a bit further to fall I think. All down to being misled and the company being unable to capitalise on what should be a no brainier if they have a test that’s 90% plus accurate and the market is so large then why have sales not increased as expected. The dog ate my homework or I was off sick doesn’t really cut it!

We need some changes at board level here or significant partners on board. GLA

With hindsight I might have been a bit hasty in buying in yesterday after the RNS (which was ambiguous on sales) after the meeting clarified sales figures (which to me indicate another placing will be needed) so unless a big deal comes along and/or the sales strategy changes (perhaps having sales sickness cover? 😡 ) this doesn’t seem to be going anywhere good for us SH soon. Bottom drawer or average down ????
