Personally I tie it in with the promise to release the P1a data as a way today out AVACTA’s stall and say to big Pharma what are you interested in?

There are rules around making statements via RNS that mean a company can be prosecuted if they make a misleading statement designed to manipulate the company share price.

I’m not sure if the repeated trade sizes mean anything Newuncle. On one of my other holdings where there seems very few trades (Alpha) there have been six trades for 777 shares at a time followed by one for 3777. If it was 666 I might feel differently! 😜

Notrex it would have been more concerning if she had resigned before the results as she would have to sign them off. I just hope her departure isn’t related to poor sales figures for Salistck? As I’d expect to see an update on the sales of Salistick given it’s been on sale for six months now, (it was launched in 400 Superdrug stores and online, via Amazon and on the Abingdon Simply Test website in June 2023, followed by its roll-out in 298 Tesco stores and Tesco online in August 2023). They should know how well it is being sold by now? & if good then why not let let us know? - not deramping here as I’m invested and think the current price is still a very good entry point although slightly higher than my average.

This is a definite buy and hold for me. Which is why it’s in my SIPP. It’s a logical next step to get BUPA (and other private healthcare groups) to also fund PSE test and the NHS to follow on too.the demand and therefore the market is huge.

It’s never a good sign when the person who sees all the figures leaves a company by mutual agreement or otherwise. Expect a dip in the SP this morning.

If Avacta get the additional information about activity in STS patients then Big Oharma should certainly be interested.

I think shorter timescales means earlier results and this could tie in with what was said by Al about the company now entering the commercialisation phase.

They are basically laying it out there that the Pre|CISION platform works. It’s not just about AVA6000 or AVA3996 etc come on big Pharma have you got anything you’d like delivered safely to the tumour ?

You do seem to look to take what’s said out of context. It was you that said about illegal behaviour. I then came back to say that they aren’t doing anything illegal. I also don’t advocate shoplifting!

I do enjoy a counter point of view so usually enjoy reading your posts but this seems to be pointless to continue now.

I believe that MM’s set their own buy and sell prices there’s nothing illegal about what they do.

Hi Wyndrum don’t misunderstand me. I’m not saying every time the price falls it’s due to mm. Just that there does seem to be a bit of a pattern whenever there’s an “unexpected” sudden significant rise. MM’s make money on trades so they could also drive trading by spiking a rise themselves 😉

It’s a familiar pattern the MM pull the share price back down trigger a few stop losses and frighten weak holders into selling before allowing the price to rise again. All part of filling a big buyers order.

Day by day price fluctuations shouldn’t bother LTH’s but I’d be wrong to say I find it easier to hold during the rises!
