Leamyk - are you an alice? If it went to 1s, it would be valued at the profit it made last year. Use your common sense. I made a fortune on BOI after the crash - a fortune! The current environment is built on fear not reality. People in Ireland have saved significant amounts of money over the last 10 years - the situation economically is far better than it ever has been. This is c. 12 cents old money - its far far far too cheap!!!

Too low - this share price is far too low!

Bought another £15k. If its hits 2 euro - which it has never done in its history - then its going to be my only holding! Even in the last financial crisis - the largest in history - this didn't hit 2 euro. Doom mongers are entirely wrong on this one. Any hint of any positive developments on Brexit will see a major rebound of this share. at just over 4 billion - this is ridiculously lowly valued - 4-5 times earnings.... stupidly low price.

Senator - I could make a rationale case for low 3s. Sorry, there is no rational case at all for less than 4s. This is now valued at 4 billion, give or rake. Being sold off for nothing!

Boosting my holdings more in the next few days. Aviva is the best FTSE 100 stock - unjustly the stock price does not currently reflect this - but over the longer term it will!!!

Just put aside £60k for BIRG shares - sub 3.80 my price target, but might buy more later on today. Totally, totally irrational movements in SP.

Why the massive boost in share price just now?

Aviva much better bet than L&G. Might buy a few Legal and General but hold significant amounts of Aviva. NAV per share for Legal and General well below market price (suggests overpriced).

Leamyk - that would value it at pretty much the same as at the height of the crash - which is absolutely ridiculous. I have kept aside another £40k for any further weakness. Now almost into the 12 cent range - which I find absolutely astonishing. Far far too undervalued!

Sterling is rock bottom and this share is to 'all intents and purposes' rock bottom. It makes sense for foreign entities to look at the UK whilst everything is so cheap! Remember FTSE 100 has only increased a few hundred points in absolute terms since 2000. Everything is cheap! Very cheap!

can anyone smarter than me explain why lloyds is falling and barclays (which announced far worse results) is rising. Something seriously wrong when this is down. Adding 20k and probably more.

apparently they have paid out 20 billion compensation that they won't have to going forward. That's a hell of a lot of money that will now go to the bottom line.... glad I bought more shares - going to buy significantly more.

Well Senator - the market is made up of sheepish people who follow the flock and exit as soon as they hear the word Brexit. This will be dealt with. I will continue to accumulate over the next few months. 13c and soon heading to 12c old money is ridiculous. AIB valued at just over 8 billion and on course to rack in 1 billion euro (pre-tax and exceptionals) values that at next to nothing. Aviva - 6.9 P/E raio is similarly ridiculously valued. In fact there are so many undervalued stocks, I can't afford to buy them all!

Jack - thanks for that. Brexit is being used as the biggest excuse to rob people. Lloyds is one of the best run businesses I have seen out there in the last 10 years. I am waiting to purchase another 20k once I get my share account sorted out (technical problems). The amount of profit they are making under the current circumstances is ear wateringly good. The longer term view says this is severely undervalued.

Beginning to look like Debenhams - sorry, its more steeply downward. What debt does this company hold? What profits does it make? May be worth a punt as it doesn't seem as bad as Carillion...
