Yes - banks are out of favour and severely undervalued across the board. People are wary despite the fact that balance sheets have been fully restored and profits and dividends are healthy across the board. This is the time to buy in - when the market is against them - you get them cheaper and cheaper. There is no reason why Lloyds should be half of what they were when profits of billions are being generated.

To be fair - the management are no lemmings. This is a solidly run bank - much better than almost any. NIM of 2.9% is exceptional compared to its peers. This is the only UK bank stock I hold as I believe long-term it will perform well....

The drop of 5% - in fact, any drop at all - was entirely unwarranted IMO. Hence, why I have just added to my position. The fact this is below NAV is astonishing, and the fact it has dropped continually from 66 pence a few months ago is astonishing. This is probably the best run bank out there. Key positives for me moving forward:
- No PPI for next set of results
- Costs under control
- High NIM (compared to peers)
- High levels of profit
- Possible addition of Tesco mortgage book
- Lower restructuring costs
I am going to continue adding if it goes down any more.

P/E ratio of c. 5-6 is undervalued. FTSE 100 average is 16. The market needs to get real. Aviva is trading on 6.9 P/E (again severely undervalued). AIB is on c. 6-7 P/E (undervalued). I could go on and on.

It's not a slight on people in London. It is clearly a service-led power house. It's just not a city I would visit for holidays or would ever contemplate living in. For those who love it - each to their own. And yes - it does bring in a lot of tax that is re-distributed across the rest of the country. But the problem is that investment almost always go to London.

Oh my God - Fruitster have you eaten happy pills. London is a place I only go because I have to - for work - thank god. It's not a city I ever have had any affinity to. People are in a rush to get places - bumping into each other on foot paths. It's probably the only city I have been in where in train stations where people are like zombies! As for anyone near the living wage, its probably the worst city to live or work in. Sorry - there are far nicer cities on the continent.

As for Jeremy Corbyn - not a chance in a million I would vote for that pillock. You really have a soured cream at the top of the political pile. Britain will look far more ridiculous after this whole charade at the end of October.

Carrington - I think a lot are deluded by Boris Johnston. Let's get it in people's heads, its the UK leaving the EU; not the other way around. It's a bit like someone leaving a company and negotiating a package of goodies on the exit. Unfortunately, Boris Johnson is disliked by pretty much most of Europe. The UK is still living with a superiority complex and is still harking back to its colonial past. The Great in Great Britain is long gone. If there is a no-deal Brexit - I will definitely vote for a United Ireland - 3 years ago, I would have been 100% for staying in the UK. Scotland will probably go the same. Boris is doing a great job of breaking up the UK and GB - I hope he continues his wrecklessness as it will only benefit Ireland in the long-run. As for the divergence in the Northern Ireland economy and the Republic of Ireland, its been some time since GDP and GNP diverged, with average wages in Dublin approaching twice those of Belfast. I am now fully bought into Northern Ireland becoming part of a United Ireland.

As of this morning, this is trading at P/E ratio of 6.9 (earnings per share = 58.4 pence; current share price £4.056). On any metric this is undervalued by a mile. If its Brexit related, well - we'll soon have an answer to that.

There is absolutely no reason for this share to be trading below NAV - given it is a solid dividend player. I think investors are just a daft bunch to continually overlook this FTSE 100 giant that pays outsized dividends. Unlike yourself Prussell, I will continue to buy more shares around the £4.23 mark (either side between £4 and £4.50). I think these are massively undervalued.

If Boris drives through a no deal Brexit - I will be moving back to the European Union (when the UK are out). What I have seen of him so far is extremely worrying.

The update gave them no ammunition to short more.

Falkland - the shorters are long gone! They are making too much money shorting Fresnillo, Centrica, Aston Martin... why pick up the crumbs here when the feast is to be had on other shares!

They always say buy low... well this is vastly overvalued. This company is on my list of "never touch" and I have a very high risk tolerance. Kier is a better bet than this company!

At 13 cents old money and making good profits - this is cheap - that's my view and I continue to watch this and AIBG with great interest. It's market cap is barely over 4 billion and it continues to make in the several hundred million profit. It's a strong buy for me.

Falkland - the shorts appear to have lost interest in RMG entirely. There are so many other, more lucrative, opportunities out there at the moment IMO... so much so, that RMG is now probably fairly low down their list of priorities in terms of shorting.... I'm following so many other stocks at the moment that are severely undervalued that I hardly have time to look in on this board... £2.09 or above is fantastic post dividend.

No deal Brexit being played to the last by UK and EU. The fear of no deal is worse than if we actually had no deal. I am assuming 100% no deal and am happy to add significantly to my holdings. AIB is trading at 1.5 cents per share pre-consolidation - pretty much was it was at in the last financial crash and its still on course to make over a £1 billion profit before tax and other deductibles. Bank of Ireland trading at c. 13 cents per share pre-consolidation. These are absolutely low and ridiculous amounts to be trading at.

BIRG and AIBG vastly undervalued now... AIB sitting on P/E ratio of 6 and BIRG somewhat similar.... all to do with negative sentiment and nothing else. Going to double my holdings of AIB from £40k to £80k.
