BIRG and AIBG vastly undervalued now... AIB sitting on P/E ratio of 6 and BIRG somewhat similar.... all to do with negative sentiment and nothing else. Going to double my holdings of AIB from £40k to £80k.

The set of results is terrible - absolutely terrible. I said back earlier in the year that this would still be dear at 85p.... it would be dear at 50p. This is going to drop out of the FTSE 100 in the not to distant future.

Well AIB down even more and theres a bank capturing the mortgage market! Its NIM is only marginally down and is on course to make over €1 billion profit. Figure that one out. These stocks are cheap on less than 8 P/E ratio!

Brexit! P/E ratio now going down towards 5 - 6 range. Far too cheap!

This share price seems to be the up and down fairy go round - fluctuating almost with precision between £4 and £4.35. It hasn't ventured outside of that range. For a company making so much money - profit - and trading on such low P/E ratio - seems strange. It must have fallen almost every day for the last two weeks.... legal and general stills seems to be the darling - for some unknown and strange reason!!!

If someone big institution owns shares - they can also short them - they are basically paying the dividend to themselves... I've seen enough to see how unscrupulous the market is.

Very surprised that this is slipping at all. This is the day before ex-dividend date. Strange - very strange!

Defroster - your rose tinted view on hard working posties is admirable. Farmers are out in all weathers as well, but their sick leave is hardly a fraction of posties. The company is overall in poor health. What it has going for it are lots of assets and low debt. This is possibly the worst time for people to be asking for more and more - their terms and conditions are exceptional. I am a social researcher - senior social researcher - I earn the same as many posties. I made my money in property and investing and certainly not working. Time for people to get real and realise a good thing when they have it.

Its a win win - load of balony - we've agreed to actually put more effort in seeing as the company was in dire straights... productivity in RMG is frankly atrocious! As are sick leave levels. The unions really take the proverbial!!!!

Madsaballoon - good luck arguing your points. If there is a strike - I will sell all of my shares... cannot invest in a company where unions see fit to argue for gold plated terms and conditions when RMG is in the middle of a turn around and grow strategy.... I'm getting 0% pay rise this year and my total pay rises for the last 7 years amount to 4% in total. RMG employees need to grow up!

Simple fact is that productivity is much lower in RMG than almost any other sector. Well over 100,000 workers and sales turnover little over 10 billion. Some companies have that sort of turnover with 10k staff. RMG isn't going to give out freebies if there are no productivity improvements and certainly they won't want to do so if it means making a loss. That would be commercial suicide!
