And investors continue to pummel Av. for wanting to... you guessed it... pay down £1.5 debt in the next three years, grow the dividend, and rationalise and streamline the business.... FICKLE!

Bubbles - I have kept adding to my position. There isn't one rating agency rating this a sell or strong sell and I can't find any saying to just hold (I may be wrong?).... and despite that the share price has managed to go down. Net Profit has increased from £703 million in 2016 to £1,568 million in 2018 (an increase of over 100%). Despite this the share price went from £4.68 in December 2016 to £4.01 today - a reduction of over 15%. So nothing adds up at all! In that light, I will happily continue to invest.

BTW - PRU is down 13% in the past year... Aviva down 3.3%... and legal and general is up over 13%.... I do not see what others see in Legal and General.... its share price is so much higher than its NAV... Aviva is £4.00 and its NAV per share is £4.23 from recollection...

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with a company awash with cash and capital. Some idiot investor group hate to see an insider leading the company. I'm more than happy to stay £92k invested in Aviva. This is undervalued - and with a strong and secure dividend, that is more than enough to keep me happy.

onebagger - very best of luck. Just my view - and I really hope someone makes money out of this company! If you 10 bag it, I shall be very happy for you and others!

I was a keen advocate of this share last year and bought about £30k - took a loss of around £10k.... and its dropped ever since. I really don't wish losses on people, but the blinkers need to come off....

Read the share price graph. Their results were very good - I don't disagree with that... but look at the graph - it didn't respond at all and is now near an all-time low. It doesn't matter if sales go up 10%, with that amount of debt and when it falls due, that is the fundamental problem. I see this falling to 10 pence or less within the next six months.

Fortune favours the brave. I lost £60k in total on Fastjet. Without question, the worst company to ever exist! If you have decided to invest in Fastjet in the hope that some day it will start to rocket, you are delusional! Entirely delusional!

Taverham - brave person investing in HUR - P/E ratio of over 600... I need not look further to know not to invest in it!

How the market should respond and how it does are two different things. This is definitely a share to avoid! Shorters are going to win!

Redceo - I wish you a speedy recovery! It's not the same when every other post isn't yours (lol). Take plenty of Nurifen (get it!)... assured to give you more headaches.

Taverham - ironic that RMG went down by same amount on comparably exceptional results....

De la rue just issued an horrendous update - sales down 25%, in a major loss, dividend suspended and future in question, and its currently down the same as RMG was when it issued its results. Conclusion: The stock market is a complete fraud. Also interesting to see the timing of shorts on RMG.... reducing up until the day before results. We can read into this insider knowledge!

Added to my position as soon as I saw the short position tracker showing shorts were the main cause of a drop in share price. Good luck to shorters - I hope your luck is catastrophic!

I'm down 30% and counting. I don't see this moving up a jot in the next six months. The US stock market is still near a record high.... the US China war is sort of coming to a climax and Brexit due to be sorted.... not looking good for Micro focus that they are down almost 50% since summer!

Micro focus is still in the doldrums!
