Wexford - I am a risk taker, and have invested loads of money in banks, Permanent TSB isn't one I would ever consider (even £1k)... its cost base is too high... its not one that I see as appealing in terms of a takeover. By all means - your money... but there are dozens of other stocks I would invest in before that one...

Permanent TSB is too small to survive as a standalone entity. It's significantly down which suggests that regardless of Brexit being sorted, it will make little difference

I have 250k of bank shares.... all bought low - bought BIRG at 3.50-4.00 range and aib at 2.50.... tonight is extremely important - hoping for a big Tory victory...

Shocked to see it open down at £2.135. If the judgement went against RMG - it would probably open down 10% and when it wins it opens down. Bizarre. Thought it would open at £2.25 at least. Dumb markets.

dividend chaser I understand your discontentment presently. But give it time. It really is a better company than Pru or L&G in my opinion. The new strategy isnt ground breaking but its sound.

pawnsacrifice.... you need to take a long look at this company... it undertook multiple raises for many many millions.... going back to 2012, $500k is probably the smallest. Read their RNSs if they are still there.

Anyone who buys this now with all of the WARNINGs are STUPID! It has spent $1,250,000,000.00 (yes, that's a lot of zeros). It has never ever turned a profit, even at EBITDA level. The share price has continually dropped since late 2012 to now. Yes, there has been ups and down... but it started at £400 a share (pre-consolidation - there were two or three of these). Anyone investing, even a few hundred are plane made. The institutional investors are of questionable repute - some of them are not even identified by Fastjet.... this is a corrupt market!!!

As an investor in Aviva - I like what I see: profit up; dividend up; debt down; rationalisation of structures; diversification.... all positives.

Ed Winter and Nick whatever his name is must have spent the guts of $1.5 billion on this corrupt venture and have a few second hand worthless planes to show for it.
