I don’t believe that we should belittle the somewhat underpaid work that train drivers are expected to do. They are instrumental in maintaining the high levels of efficiency that we enjoy on our railway, it’s not easy steering those trains...oh wait...

Rail has yet to make its presence felt, this may be a general prod to focus minds, but also could be the start of a rethinking of the approach to commercialising the division. Perhaps progress rail sidelined to purely freight and someone else taking on rail passenger business, just surmising...
“Doing business with London buses,” we knew they had two bus routes trialling the technology but this sounds like things are moving forward.
Overall I felt it was a good interview and hopefully there will be a lot more like it.

As much as I appreciate the burger-van updates that are posted, and to see video of progress on site, my desire is to see it myself. Therefore the top of my shopping list would be news of an investors event. The project will benefit from lots of reports for those unable to attend, and confirmation that our decision to commit was sound. It might just illicit further investment as well...

Unfortunately having two pilots asleep is far too regular an occurrence, but normally the only People who know are the two pilots... when en-route the aircraft simply follows the prepared flight plan and no one is ever the wiser. The only time it gets reported is when they approach their destination and fail to answer air traffic control. Airlines and pilots alike understandably prefer not to publicise these events.

It’s reassuring that aviation has finally been included in the company valuation, since rail and aviation have historically had a valuation of zero. Additional reassurance can also be taken from the “further upside” comment on the aviation division.

It may only initially be two simulators, but it signals the commercial dawn of the aviation division and proves that another product is market ready. Congrats to all lth

Bought some for Sipp, but also some for my 6 year old son. I decided that since he hadn’t been born into money, I would utilise what he did have, ie time. Whilst he learns grows and matures Sirius can do the same. By the time he leaves home I hope everything is in full swing and all issues sorted. These shares at four for a pound could pay dividend throughout his entire life, now there’s a thought.

In 2019 five self driving single deck coaches (called enviro 200) will be operating between Edinburgh and Fife, this will be something that’s not been achieved anywhere else in the world. There will be a driver on board in case of emergency.
This project is taxpayer funded to the tune of £ 4.35 million plus investment from stagecoach and other organisations.This is one of four projects which totals a £25 million investment.

I don’t know which way to go with this, we simply don’t have enough information.
It’s entirely possible that those deemed responsible for recent events are being replaced, therefore this would be a good sign that the necessary tough decisions are being made. However it’s also possible that the personal reasons stated are just that, they may be completely unconnected with see. Either way the market doesn’t like it, but then the market doesn’t seem to like a lot anywhere world wide at the moment.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it was built, and so will the sm empire.
There are indeed several oem contracts to be decided and we are well positioned to benefit from them. We also have a rail contract which is still unknown in terms of value, timescales and the company involved. Fleet issues have imho been completely overblown and we can look forward to hearing about the upside of current reorganisation. We know that our aviation division is making progress on several fronts, currently valued at zero, this again will mean it’s is all upside for us.
We have much to look forward to, and an Australian company trading worldwide limits the brexit effects...keep smiling

Justsay1ng, by casting aspersions in something you are supposed to be invested in shows your true colours. To create doubt with your mon 19:12 comment and later to knock both the company and its management can only point to you trolling your way towards a lower buy in price.
Your efforts give succour to the other balanced posts that counter your arguments.

I believe that the channel tunnel tbm dug it’s own grave and simply remains there because it made financial sense to leave it behind. Whether any valuable part of it was salvaged, I don’t know...

Paul, it’s a while ago but I seem to recall that the trial was being discussed on this board around the time that we were given the tfl tram contract. It was for two undisclosed bus routes involving some 70 buses.
