Feel free to correct me, but anyone with knowledge of the full facts could not have progressed an offer of purchase or jv without the information first being available to investors, ie the owners. So any progress could only proceed after delisting, therefore the cost of delisting was unavoidable unless LR was intending to prove up the asset.

Bobby, You make a fair point however since the ss was originally being prepared for release, we have witnessed a 73%slide. Surely that qualifies as grounds for some concern. What is being discussed is what’s the plan to move this forward, I would think that to be a reasonable question.

Just imagine if they didn’t have plenty of time to prepare for this, it might have gone badly...

I have to agree DW, the word disappointing does seem apt.
When the ss was originally expected our sp was circa 60% higher than today, despite it clearly not being bad news. Even my modest expectations have not been achieved, and so we need to consider why. I did expect there to be a podcast to help present this in its most positive manner, which could have included updates on progress. Funding is clearly the main issue however and clarity is therefore required.

Tunnelling bonuses, completion deadlines, let alone the bod will all bear heavily in the thoughts of who ever has responsibilities for ensuring the tbm never comes to a standstill for the lack of segments. I’m sure that they have been made very aware that their continued employment depends on it.

I understand that Concrete will strengthen over time, its fully cured in approximately 28 years, then continues to weaken... there are lots of different mixes and additives that will all change the performance figures. Personally I would not waste time worrying as I’m sure that it’s not something that would get overlooked...there’s a lot of both science and planning behind ensuring sufficient quantities of exacting specifications are available when and where required.

The reason I resist putting figures forward is because there are too many variables, on what basis are we valuing, also remember that the ss isn’t completely out yet, and that any deals might be part cash /part shares elsewhere...

as things stand, I have two intentions, firstly to find out precisely the missing details of the ss, and secondly to return this investment into a positive, somewhat north of our current position, Both are expected early on Friday and both relatively modest expectations. We should also have some updates on progress, and possibly more...? After that I shall gladly reevaluate.
