Seeing2020, my comment was “partners spending considerable amounts is highly significant “ rather than millions of dollars, however, I was referring to Emirates as I have no knowledge of the extent of FedEx or Qantas involvement. Qantas imho was the likely candidate for Ken’s comment about Emirates and other airline, but nothing more concrete was found( until now). In March kk said that Emirates had already committed considerable resources to the project with us, this commitment clearly continues. We know that routes are being cancelled simply because of a shortage of flight crew, yet senior crew are being taken off front line duties and put into expensive and much needed simulators, this is an indication of their commitment, and hence my comments about significant amounts.

Seeingtom I agree with your last comments about partners spending considerable amounts, this is HIGHLY significant and does point pleasingly towards future collaborations in aviation.
There have been calls from us for better communication, especially within the aviation division, which seemed to operate very much under the radar, but commercial sensitivity is always an issue, I took this rns as a reply to our requests. To be given the aviation update is fantastic and much appreciated.

Pm44 yes that’s precisely the ultimate goal. Having our tech in every aircraft will provide a huge advantage to incident investigators, will improve airline safety and will eventually work towards single pilot aircraft. Yes this is news, Emirates has been a known partner for quite some time and clearly likes what we do, Qantas for me was a bit of a guess loosely based on inference, and fed ex has simply always been on the wish list purely based on the vast potential it would offer (mainly to fleet).

We have a number of competitors in auto yet we are proving to be no1, consider the addressable markets for trams, School busses, public busses, coaches, taxis, railways, delivery vehicles, off road plant, where is the competition?
Fleet is already selling the second generation guardian, g3 is already being worked on, yes clearly the progress will have hiccups along the way but that’s only to be expected. All of the above is happening NOW, it’s early stages but happening. Discussion from the NTSB, Euro ncap and the eu are lighting the path before us and we are ideally placed to benefit.
We have a clear idea for our aviation division and an 18 month timeline for it to prepare, this will be a great opportunity for us, just give it time. Further ahead, we have a very capable ceo who has alluded to a pipeline of other opportunities based upon our world class data.

This is painful and unnecessary.
When we were told of lower revenue expectations (due to a 6 week delay in obtaining certain parts) the sp took a hit, when these lower expectations are realised we take another hit.
I would agree that the rns could have been more positive, but generally we never seem to make the most of our opportunities to push our many and varied achievements, others do so why not us? Written differently this could easily have been presented in a much more positive manner.

The weeks are rolling by, yet we still don’t have either details (or an outline) of name, value, timescales or numbers for the rail contract. I am not suggesting that there is necessarily an issue, but am intrigued as to the reasons behind it. I cannot believe there can be a need for inter operator secrecy, and union agreement must surely have been sought prior to finer details being discussed. Kk has said before that it is best practice to include unions in the very first meetings, it would be useful if there were details that may be released.

Seeing, I was pondering the $105 when you posted about it last night but the red wine was getting the better of me. With some kit leased, some sold with ongoing monthly revenue in various timescales and I assume some sold outright ie without a monthly monitoring fee, I would have reservations about how accurately I can put a value to the 5500 units already shipped. Fair play for giving it a go!

We have already heard that Zurich are considering a discount of up to 20% for guardian technology in fleet, but I have not seen anything about any possible discount in auto insurance for either regular or younger / new car drivers. Has anybody else picked up any insurance news since this could become a significant factor that’s not yet factored in.
