faramog, no that is not what I'm suggesting. I am merely making a case for a SA Company (with the collusion of other parties with a vested interest) operating in a way which, within the law, may suit all their interests.

No disrespect to anybody, I value all of your opinions. But I would like to hear what BBN thinks?

So, how many people get it? I mean the whole thing? The steel strengthening. The energy storage, the lithium/VRFB thing. The amount of mines and production facilities currently and potentially. The politics. The economics, the BOD's, the plans and potential of the players etc etc. How many people on the planet actually get it yet?
Well I would start with a few hundred on this site but after that, outside of Africa I would have to say - not many. But that is my point. OUTSIDE of South Africa.
This is their baby and IN MY OPINION ONLY nothing that will increase the SP which doesn't have to be done, will be done, until those South African institutional and private investors who DO get it have been allowed a slice of the pie. Quite right too.
When the JSE domino goes over so will an awful lot more in my view. None of us doubt the integrity or veracity of some of the movers and shakers but this IS South Africa. It would be naive to think there are not wheels within wheels.

As a side note, something that also occurred to me. A takeover is a frequently raised topic of conversation on here. There could be a massive player in that debate not previously (to my recollection) mentioned. The South African government. They may want inward investment but that is not the same thing as allowing foreign money to steal your crown jewels.

Okay, so I know I have espoused this theory on a number of occasions in a throwaway maner. The first time not long after the announcement of the JSE listing and as recently as a few days ago.
However, having given it some serious thought recently I would like to expand on my thinking.
So - the JSE listing.
It's generally thought it won't have much of an impact on the SP but I couldn't disagree more. For me it will be the first domino. Because I believe the dominoes are being stood up ready for this event.
The speed with which this company has gone from an iron play to a potential behemoth in the Vanadium mining and energy storage world is breathtaking. However, there are a number of situations that seem to dragged on with no perceived rhyme or reason. For example.
The Eskon battery trial. - Not a peep. Surely we could have been given a clue by now?
Eskom tenders. - Ditto.
Lemur. - we know it's got to go but not a word.
VRFB contracts? Hmmmmm
Now obviously there are some things that are time and money critical and have to be done when they have to be done. Vanchem, redt/Avalon- the whole VIP thing in fairness.
The unsold inventory has a few plausible explanations. Low price and holding stock for electrolyte being two. It does make sense to only sell what you need to maintain enough for profit and expansion when the price is low and widely expected to increase. However, it's not like there isn't plenty more where that came from. Maybe selling just enough for a solid (though unspectacular) set of figures was the plan.
Maybe a low SP suits.
BMN joined AIM as the most suitable vehicle for raising finance and achieving its growth and expansion plans and in fairness to AIM, for all its many faults, it has facilitated exactly that. For which we are all extremely grateful because not only have we helped achieve it, we have managed to grab a piece of the action. However, the company has outgrown AIM and - make no mistake about this - BMN has never been a British story. Needs do as needs must but this has ALWAYS been a South African story.

Compere- very good. Not afraid to ask difficult questions.
Fat bird: seemed constrained by an agenda for me. Didn't say anything of worth.

Conclusion. There is no such thing as a perfect world but Fortune is steering us through stormy waters to Nirvana.
If SA could sort their politicians, BMN would be bigger than Amazon and Microsoft combined in a few years.

I have said it many times before and I still believe it. Mokopane, Eskom battery trial results and tenders, possibly even divesting Lemur are not progressing until the JSE listing and an opportunity for SA Investors to claim a stake. Or us it stake a claim?
