People often say to me, Farmer numpty, what are the best plants to sow this time of year. Well I like to go with the hardy perennials. At lot depends on your soil type of course. Here on Drunkworthy Farm we have soil rich in vanadium. The best thing to grow here is Bushveld shares. I plant rows and rows of them. You have to be a bit patient as they don’t shoot up overnight. However, with a bit of fortune they will eventually grow into mighty great big things. They can flower all year round producing lovely little electrolytes. Pop them into your generator and there you go, free power.
I do plant a little bit of ATM shares and even a bit of Lemur just for balance but I think I may sell this years crop of Lemur and call it a day with that one.
This American farmer chap visited the farm the other day. He doesn’t sow any BMN shares and was quite keen to buy my crop. Bit boastful he was to tell you the truth. He said on his farm he can get in his 15 litre run-around and it takes him all day to drive round his property. I had to chuckle. I told him, I used to have a car like that!
