They'll need to give notice for the respective UK and EU Parliaments to be recalled to vote on deal. So it would have to be announced imminently. Macro news is key now. We should see a delayed reaction to news of last 2 weeks then and shorts closing quickly.

Yeah not nice but was good to see that Citadel Advisors LLC reduced their short to 0.48% from 0.54% on the same day.

My take is slightly different from some of the postings here regarding the sp drag despite all the news of contract awards and ESS sales. I personally think there might be some background accumulation going on and we may see a Holdings RNS in the next week.

Cabinet minister Robert Jenrick said he is “reasonably optimistic” that a late deal will be agreed before the current trading arrangements expire at the end of the month. Cannot believe they will wait till after Xmas to announce it but who can predict. I personally think there was a link between French President Emmanuel Macron’s action to shut the border with France and the Brexit negotiations. Kind of to bring a dose of cold water to some negotiating positions.

With news of a Tier 4 extension across the UK post Xmas it is fair to say the FTSE has had the kitchen sink thrown at it in the last few weeks. Is this priced in? Tier 4 extension is not a lock-down as per March. You can still go to Body Shop for Christ's sake to buy your Mother's xmas presents so I hope this is priced in. With the Brexit uncertainty removed in the next few days I suspect that this share should appreciate quickly. Let's hope.

No placing. Hardly likely given the update from Half Year results:
• Gross cash as at 30 June 2020 $0.75m (at 31 December 2019: $1.12m)
• Completed placing of 4.5m shares to raise £2.1m (pre expenses) post Period End
• Gross cash at 31 August $3.16m
• Current revenue visibility of $5m for full year
• Plus a near-term pipeline of $15m, of which $4m is from existing customers

With the CEO's brother (Suresh Yezhuvath) investing £500k at 47p is a bit reassuring to Investors in the last placing after selling earlier in the year 78p+

This has been a grind to hold. However with the low Free Float, expected Brexit Deal announcement this week and Trading Update in January we should see 50p+ come February. Frustrating to hold with lack of news flow but once it moves, it moves. Hopefully this time in the effing right direction surprised!

As expected exit strategy to open up travel with the UK released by EU. Key points below:
- All non-essential travel to and from the UK should be discouraged until further notice
- Union citizens and UK citizens travelling to their Member State or country of residence as well as third-country nationals that enjoy EU free movement rights should be exempted from further temporary restrictions provided that they undergo a test or quarantine
- People travelling for essential reasons, for instance medical staff, should be required to undergo a test within 72 hours prior to departure, but should not be required to quarantine
- Transport staff within the EU should be exempted from any travel ban across any border and from testing and quarantine requirements when they are travelling across a border to and from a vessel, vehicle, or aircraft
- Where transport workers are required to take a rapid Covid test, this should not lead to transport disruptions
- Prohibition of transport services, such as flight or train bans, should be discontinued
- Cargo flows need to continue uninterrupted, not least to ensure the timely distribution of COVID-19 vaccines

Should see some normalcy return in coming days.

Loss per share and going concern statement not the best but main concern for those, like me, which have this on the watch list is the risk of further fund raising. Think this is inevitable and will be done by Feb '21 to support the development of NXP002 in IPF and with Covid-19. This would supplement or cover the Innovate UK Grant. I had a look at past rounds of this and in Round 10 the total available funding was £734,245 with an average pay-out of sub-£200k. Hardly is going to go very far. Best await the Q1 Update which will be the key for the Company.

With news of the exit strategy on how the UK's borders can be opened up safely the general market sentiment should return to some sense of normalcy. I just cannot see a No-Deal having any support even amongst Brexiteers in the current scenario and would likely cause a general election. Chances are a deal, not extension, is also likely in the next few days. We still could see a Santa Rally this year.

Suspect the appointment of Allenby Capital Limited as the Company's sole Broker could mean a fund raise is coming in New Year to fund CEO's new strategy. Market reaction will depend on size and purpose.

Oh wait was it your email account that was reported to Premaitha Investor relations as you started contacting Premaitha's customers directly and for which Dan Evans, former Premaitha Non-Exec Chairman, had you reported.
My opinion on Twix is as before. You can ask him directly where the big news he promised for these HY has gone.

@Steve67 As explained it is difficult to see why YGEN is down 5% whereas NCYT is up nearly 10% when both are two gene target polymerase chain reaction tests for COVID-19. Hopefully confirmation that they can test the VUI-202012/01 variant will come shortly.

It should be noted that the UK travel ban will inevitably have to be lifted and an exit strategy towards this should be expected. As part of this there will be a greater emphasis on PCR testing as the WHO has been alarmed by the number of false-negatives that have been declared by other tests. Hence the forward thinking by some NCYT investors. Our pressing concern is the impact on the logistics for getting samples to the Manchester lab.

The global footprint of YGEN is also not appreciated in today's sp movement with the AGX-DPNI acquisition allowing for distribution in France. It should be noted that sales in Mainland Europe were £2,877k (up +80%) in the HY results vs £1,521k for the UK (up +30%).

Twix/Frankie ad others nicknames: As you know you were already driven off one BB and shown up for your true colours by a more knowledgeable poster there who had showed up fictitious holding and swing trades by those that investigated them. Re: Novacyt were straight out with an RNS saying their PCR test detects the new strain, hopefully we’re busy validating Clarigene!!

Think this is the reason for the weakness today when in reality this should be positive as will increase the need for testing for travel. The Novacyt RNS was just publicity and not required. Both the YGEN and NCYT test are 2-gene PCR tests. Both of these tests use primer pairs that target more than one viral gene. The problem is that by only targeting one viral gene when carrying out reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing you risk missing COVID mutations. So you will see some uncertainty in the market as they try and work out whether these COVID tests will still work on the new strain. Just remember that Clarigene is a 2-viral gene test and hence better suited for testing mutations. Lynn bless, will not issue a RNS to explain this.

For those that missed the Brexit commemorative coin released earlier in the year, that has been topped with a UK-Covid strain to outdo the Chinese to mark the end of the Brexit negotiations. The UK will probably be hit by further travel ban extensions. Still buying as expect Brexit deal to be announced in next few days and expecting as well as US rally to filter through from $900bn (£660bn) US COVID aid package to be voted through by Trump in one of his final acts.

Reading this BB is increasingly becoming a pain and a head-spin with all the aliases however just to correct one point...

Premaitha Health (now YourGene Health) sued Espirite's subsidiary Genoma SA (“Genoma”) and successfully placed Genoma in bankruptcy in May 2017. Full provision was provided in Premaitha's accounts to 31 March 2017 for the outstanding debt owed to Premaitha by Genoma of approximately £750,000 and so treated as 'bad debt' hence the financial figures have no risk of changing downwards. Espirite concluded several fundraising exercises since then however never sought to make these available to Genoma to recover them from bankruptcy. This is because Espirite transferred Genoma's sizeable NIPT customer base in Switzerland and certain other European countries when they were using the IONA test from Premaitha to Espirite's own in-house successor product.

Since then the Court in Zutphen, Netherlands, on April 14th, 2020, declared Esperite in bankruptcy.

As full provision was provided in Premaitha's accounts to 31 March 2017, the figures do not change, and as such YourGene has felt no need to reopen old wounds I guess. Well I guess we have now.

Some of the negative sentiment here seems overdone though I do understand the frustration of the continued lack of clarity here. The sp was always going to suffer as they were a repeat of the Oct figures, which in the absence of any forward guidance. There's was some BB nonsense of 20p expectations and NGS contract wins from the more vocal posters here but that was never going to happen and was warned against. The sp should return to trading in the normal 17p/18p range by Feb and so if ppl can hold of selling till then that could be an idea. Better would be to await till the April End of Year update. In the NY you should be hearing a spate of further news should the Company be on target to achieve FY End projections. With the market capitalisation currently 4x projected sales revenue the sp valuation is looking a bit oversold so hopefully there should be some stabilisation and recovery in the coming weeks.
P.S. If you invest or sell based on anything on a BB or believe any illusions of declared holdings here. YGEN is a known illiquid stock so it makes some of these posts frankly incredulous.

Half Year results confirmed that acquisition of Ex5 Genomics earn-outs of £275,000 have all subsequently crystallised with a modest working capital adjustment. The £275,000 cash acquisition was primarily for laboratory equipment and customer relations which allowed the forming of Yourgene Genomic Services which was launched in September 2020.

It was mentioned the other day when people were querying why no Directors were buying after the sale that more material news should be expected
"The contract will be worth an estimated £1BN over 12 years for Capita, with opportunities to deliver further training according to the Royal Navy's requirements.".. Yep £1BN!
